I groaned loudly into my pillow.

Ever since I had told Kara about what a kiss was, the brothers had all seemed adamant about knowing more in regards to the action. I had managed to get away from Jyushi by promising to show him later, quickly going through his enclosure and cleaning it before bidding him a good night.

I couldn't figure out how they knew about it.

Kara had mentioned that he heard someone talking about it from beyond the black window, but the odds were really low for that to happen to Oso and Jyushi as well. I remembered that Kara also mentioned hearing me through the wall when I first went into their enclosures, so it was possible that the nagas could've heard me talking about it...

I lay on my side, taking in slow breaths as I looked at the laptop charging on top of my duffle bag. Raising myself on all fours, I reached out to unplug the laptop before bringing it over and resting it on my stomach. Lounging back, I turned on the laptop and opened the internet browser to start working on an escape plan.

Most of the easy getaways would take a lot of money, which I didn't have since access to my personal banking account was cut off and I wasn't being paid for taking care of the nagas. I'd have to find an amateur way to get the six large nagas out of one of the more renowned zoos in America, and I only had five more months before the nagas were moved to somewhere in the Midwest...with no guarantee that I'd be going with them.

My fingers froze on the keyboard, the thought chilling me to the core. I had always assumed that I was going to be the only one taking care of them, but what if Calmine decided that I wasn't needed anymore? Would I be discarded and dumped back into the public with no way to trace where the nagas went?

I blinked away the tears as I kept searching for some kind of service I could take advantage of, or for some transportation that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to carry the nagas.

An airplane would be the best bet, but the island didn't have a place long enough to act as a runway. A helicopter would be the next option, but I didn't have a license to fly nor did I have enough money to rent a helicopter large enough to transport six nagas that probably weighed closer to an elephant or two. A cargo ship would take too long, and I didn't want to put the nagas back into cargo containers when they were shipped over in them...

Jeff!

I scrambled to grab the folded letter, keeping the laptop on my stomach as I re-read the letter he had sent. There wasn't a company name attached to the letter, only Jeff's name.

I typed in a combination of his name, 'helicopter', and 'business', hoping that they would unlock the answer that I needed. Clicking on the images tab, I slowly scrolled through the pictures until I saw a face I recognized, hovering the mouse over the website to see it connected to an 'About Me' page. I opened the site to see a well-outlined webpage, Jeff's smiling face at the top left corner while the block of text described his history of aviation. There were multiple tabs on the website, listing a 'Hangar Gallery & Prices', 'Shop', 'About Me', 'Contact Us', and 'Services'.

As I dug through the website, I learned that Jeff was a contract pilot who owned his own business that ranged from touring flights to cargo drops, employing an array of pilots that were skilled in each job that the business engaged in. The hangar that he owned held a large collection of ready-to-fly helicopters, including one that looked just like the helicopter that took the nagas off the island. It was called a Mil Mi-26TS and could be reserved for a heavy lifting job for...a lot of money.

I clicked on the 'Contact Us' tab, seeing a questionnaire fill the page that asked general questions about what service I was interested in hiring his company for, how long would I need the service to last, and where they were able to contact me. Creating a new e-mail account quickly and using it as a point of contact, I sent in the questionnaire and stared at the screen while letting out a sigh I didn't realize I was holding.
