The Apex Trials

Today was the day. The day the trials for new legends were put to the test and join the arena. The idea for the battle royale was designed 2 years ago which isn't exactly a long time, but each new season new legends are able to enter the arena. Which is a huge advantage for Loba. Ever since her parents were killed by the synthetic nightmare known as revenant she has been trying to track him down ever since she got old enough to do things on her own. Apparently he joined the apex games just for the joy of killing others and having fun while doing so.

She had been waiting for this day for awhile, just getting the chance to kill him for herself. Loba was up next to get the test she was given to make it into the arena and be the new legend. She looked around and saw many people looking to be a legends themself. She grasped her bracelet tightly and sighed looking down at the ground. She knew it was going to be hard but she had faith that she would make it. The next minute she heard her name get called, she looked up and took a deep breathe making her way up to the trial room and on the path to becoming a new legend.

From the corner of the lobby she could sense something looking at her but as fast as she turned her head it was gone. She squinted to see if she could see anything and heard her name get called once again, she slowly looked away from the corner and shrugged her shoulders slightly and walked into the room being more then ready to face what was behind the door.

-In a nearby town-

"Oh boy I'm so beat, and that's rare coming from me", One of the legends said from the door to the nearby bar in town. " Oh come on octane don be like that you barely did anything", Lifeline said jokingly walking around him laughing quietly to herself.

Lifeline sat down on a stool in front of the bar and sighed slightly. Octane chuckled a little bit and sat next to her. " if anybody outta be tired it should definitely be crypto he did the most out there today" lifeline said nudging her head in the direction towards crypto who was working on hack.

Octane looked towards the direction and nodded his head, " you're definitely right hermana he helped us a lot out there, we wouldn't have been able to see the enemy without him". Soon after, every other legend started to pour into the bar slightly exhausted from their own matches.

Of course the village that everyone was at wasn't involved In the arena section, but it was outside of the arena and had many civilians living there peacefully. After a little bit of time everybody was officially at the bar having their own little conversation.

Bloodhound was mostly tending to his crow, while mirage looked at himself in the mirror a couple of times. Bangalore sat in a stool by lifeline drinking a small beer. She wasn't wearing what she would usually wear in battle, but she was a lot more relaxed and in a black tank top and with her military dog tag showing around her neck.

She took a sip of her drink while looking at the countertop and said to no one in particular, " who do you think the new legend will be ".

Everyone stopped with their own conversations and turned ctowards her. Some of the legends looked at each other and shrugged. Then wraith began to speak from her place alongside Wattson and octane, " they haven't announced the new legend yet but hopefully whoever it is doesnt have a bad intention by coming here and becoming a legend", wraith said eyes closed and arms crossed.

" Well whoever it is I hope it's a girl", mirage smirked to himself and laughed a little bit. "And hopefully that girl doesn't have an attitude like wraith," Mirage said nudging his thumb towards wraith.

Wraith chuckled slightly and opened her eyes looking straight towards mirage, " Why in the world would you want another girl here, unless you want her to hear your ridiculous jokes" wraith said looking towards him. Mirage snapped his head towards her, annoyed and was about to say something when gibby grabbed him slightly from the shoulder, " woah calm down there brutha no need to be mad now" he said laughing.

Pathfinder jumped into the conversation between the three and looked at mirage, "Yeah friend, don't get mad I like your jokes" he said to mirage, who was looking towards pathfinder now and sarcastically said, " oh yeah that makes me feel so much better". Everyone laughed at the small conversation they were having. Just after he said that a loud speaker caught their attention. Everyone turned their heads to the speaker trying to listen.

Okay so like first chapter done yay but I probably won't get too many views on this right away but the second chapter will be a lot longer then this one for sure.
