★-------- STEPHANIE blankly stares at her astronomy notes, silently cursing each time she would get distracted by random things. She slammed her book close and ran her hand through her face and hair.

"You look awfully stressed." She heard someone say behind her. She quickly whipped her head to look at the person. When she turned around her dark chocolate brown eyes met his ocean blue eyes, she blinked at the figure before scanning the blue eyed boy.

He wore a yellow and black jumper obviously a Hufflepuff, he had wavy blond hair with some strands falling against her forehead.

"Noah." He introduced himself putting his hand in front of Stephanie.

"Noah Smith." He added with a small smile, he took his hand and shocked it before also returning a smile.

"Stephanie Rose." she said before letting go of his hand.

"May I ask what got you awfully stressed?" He looked behind her at the table which had her forgotten notebook, her eyes widened, turning back to the notebook and the blue eyed boy.

"Astronomy." Stephanie said with a hint of embarrassment. She ran a hand through her hair as she looked at her notebook

"Oh, my favorite class. May I help you?" He asked, tilting his head a little.  Stephanie nodded, quickly realizing how fast she nodded she rubbed her forehead in annoyance making Noah laugh. He slid the chair beside her back and sat, he started explaining each question to her making sure she understood it. He made sure she had fun learning, making her laugh every minute which made students around them hush them.

Hours passed by both Stephanie and Noah didn't even realize it until they were hurried out of the library making the duo have a fit of laughter.

"Thank you so much, Noah. Thanks to you I don't have to worry about failing." she laughed as they both stood in the hallway.

"Anytime. I best be off, don't want to get my arse busted." Noah joked making them both laugh.

"Goodnight, Smith."

"Night, Rose." He waved off as he ran down the hallway making the girl laugh. She shook her head before walking in the opposite direction with a big smile on her face, she walked up the stairs until she realized how bright the full moon was outside. She scanned the area for any professors or prefects before taking the closest exit and running outside.

She watched the moon as it shined on her, when observing the moon she heard a little crackle of a stick. She snapped her head to look at who was guilty for the nose but she saw nothing, she squinted when she saw something run across the whomping willow. Without realizing that she was moving, she walked closer to the whomping willow. Before she was able to step foot in the forest a tall stag stood in front of her, the stag started pushing her back to where she was.

"Stop it." She whispered yelled at the stag, trying to gently push it off her. The stag looked at her in the eye making her stop in her tracks.

"James." She squinted her eyes at the stag, before he could do anything she heard a growl. The stag quickly started pushing her again, this time harder but Stephanie didn't budge. The stag looked at her with pleading eyes which made Stephanie let it push her back, before she could get inside she saw a dog run towards them and turned into sirius.

"He's controlled now." Sirius said to the stag not acknowledging Stephanie. In a blank of an eye the once stag turned into James. James didn't answer Sirius but looked at Stephanie, making Sirius look at her in surprise.

"What are you doing here, Stephanie." James asked in a serious tone. This was the first time James has ever used Stephanie's first time, making Stephanie sweat profusely. She paused trying to think of an answer that won't sound dumb.

"I heard noises." She winced at the horrible excuses.

"You heard noises and decided to come outside." He folded his arms and raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah." She gave him a slight smile but he ignored it.

"Steph, it's a full moon. You do realize how dangerous that is to be out here by yourself." Sirius spoke behind him, before she could answer she heard a loud growl.

"You said you got him tamed." James hissed as he looked at Sirius who was looking at the whomping willow.

"Who are you guys talking about?"

"No one." They both in unison, suddenly they heard cracking and movement. James stood in front of Stephanie protectively as they also listened closely for any sign of movement.

"Prongs, get Steph back inside I'll deal with him." He whispered to James who was about to turn to Stephanie but she quickly stopped him.

"No I'm staying." She said before the boys could protest they heard a loud growl.

"I'll lead him back to the shrieking Shack, meet us there."  Sirius said to James before transforming back to his dog and running towards the forest

"I'll transform back, it will be faster if you ride on my back." He turned to Stephanie, she quickly nodded and watched as James became her stag form again. He lowered his body so she was able to get on easier, Stephanie hesitanted a little bit before swinging her legs over his back and holding his neck. He looked at her with the side of his eyes making sure she was on properly before running towards the whomping willow.
