Book 2: Guardian - Choi San

Part 10

Today was the big day, the decision that would show if all Seungjun's hard work would pay off, San talked to Hwanhee and Yeosang about it and he believed Seungjun was ready but he didn't want to tell Seungjun that either, he was scared of getting the boy's hopes up and then being let down in the end.

Yeosang and Hwanhee joined the two in the practice room, San nervously stood next to them waiting for Seungjun to tell him he was ready to start, and when he gave the go, San started the song.

Seungjun danced and sang softly along to the song, Yeosang and Hwanhee watched intently as the boy moved, and they were really taken aback, the way the boy shined was so bright that they couldn't believe it, and the happier he seemed while dancing the brighter the sparkling effect got.

By the time his performance came to an end Yeosang and Hwanhee were both speechless, they felt like crying it was really shocking, thinking that only a month ago the boy fainted on stage because he couldn't handle his abilities, and now even without being on stage his abilities shined brightly.

"Well then, we will have to clean the whiteboard, we need to start planning that concert," Yeosang said with a big smile.

"Wait really? You guys think I'm ready?" Seungjun asked in surprise.

"Definitely, I have never seen anyone shine that bright just by dancing along to a song," Hwanhee told him, Seungjun looked at San with a big smile San opened his arms wide and the boy ran over to him, San hugged him tightly.

"You did it love, I can't wait to see you shine up there," San told him.

Hwanhee and Yeosang watched them with a small smile on their faces, they knew just how hard the two worked but they didn't forget a special boy who helped them without the two knowing, they couldn't wait to tell him.

The next day came around and Seungjun and San went over to the studio extra early, they wanted to get a head start on planning the concert, San had so many ideas and so did Seungjun, neither of them could wait.

When they arrived they met Hongjoong, who was waiting for them, he held a file in his hands with a big smile on his face.

"I heard the good news, now these can be used," he said and handed Seungjun the file.

The boy opened it and found lyrics to multiple songs.

"These..."

"I have been writing song's for you since the day I saw that video, and a new song every time you made an improvement, the last one I started on this month and finished it last night when Yeosang called me, the lyrics, they were inspired by you and San, when I watched you grow with him by your side, the way you two slowly came to fall for one another slowly, and now you stepping on stage, this song - Aurora - is especially for you, no one else will be able to sing it.

"And this one" Hongjoong said pointing to another song "It is a little more special, but Yeosang and Hwanhee will inform you why they will be here soon," Hongjoong told the two.

Seungjun read the lyrics for the second song and smiled a little, it was a really uplifting song, well both were but there was something about the second song that was just a little different.

When Yeosang and Hwanhee joined them they both had the biggest smiles on their faces.

"I take it they approved the suggestion?" Hongjoong asked the couple and they nodded happily, they turned to Seungjun.

"So, this concert... it will be special, and we will have a special guest" Hwanhee started off.

Yeosang rushed over to the board and started writing down.

"A trio stage, San, Seungjun and Gyumin," Yeosang said, Seungjun blinked a few times.

"Huh? As in my Gyumin?" he asked.

"Yep, we talked to the principal about our theory about him being a guardian and well if he is we want to get him as quick as possible, the stronger you are the stronger the guardians are, San hasn't performed since his break so the three of you on stage would amazing, plus we need to see how strong Gyumin is, so we can see if he will be able to handle the abilities as well" Yeosang explained to the boy.

"I can't wait, I bet he will be very excited," he said

"Oh believe me he is, I called him to make sure he was okay with it, and let me tell you he really is so excited to be on stage with you," Hwanhee told him.

The boy smiled brightly.

"So the second song"

"Yep Dancing like butterfly wings is for the three of you, the moment we can start recording the tracks we can start working on practicing the choreography I and Mrs. Kim worked on," Yeosang told them.

"Guys," Seungjun said on the verge of tears, he felt overwhelmed by all the support, it was amazing, he was feeling like he could take on the world as long as he had his friends with him, then anything would be possible for him.

After that they started to speak of concepts for the concert, after checking the lyrics and listening to the tracks they concluded on having a summer vibe for the concept, something bubbly and light-hearted, the color scheme was sky blue and white.

Slowly everything started coming together, Seungjun spent the time they weren't planning the concert on learning the lyrics to the songs Hongjoong gave him, but although it was a lot of work and a lot of things to remember he was truly happy, no matter how much he messed up he could just imagine standing on stage and he would perk up immediately and work even harder than before.
