You again? Hayes Grier Fan fic

Chapter 9

*Sunday*

All throughout the night weird messages kept coming through. Hayes hadn't answered last night because of course carter had to take his phone. Mackenzie wanted to hang out today so we had our moms drop us off at the mall. We went to our favorite stores Pacsun, Deb, Forever 21 and Bath and Body Works. On our way home my mom was driving us, when all of a sudden, coming from our left side, a huge truck came crashing into our car.

The next thing I knew was that I was in a hospital with many tubes coming in and out of my body. I turned to my right and saw Mackenzie sitting in a chair on my side holding my hand staring at me, almost as if she was waiting for me to wake up.

"ARIEL OMG ARIEL! DOCTOR SHES AWAKE! HELP SOMEONE" Mackenzie yelled, getting up and running around.

A group of doctors and nurses ran in and starting checking my monitors and tubes. I looked around and saw a glass window in front of me with a group of people standing staring at me. Some were crying some were hugging.. it looked like they were celebrating a Super Bowl win or something.

A few hours later I was still in the hospital bed and the room was still being cleared out. Mackenzie was asked to leave by multiple people but she refused. Now I was feeling a lot better and the doctors decided to let people in to see me.

Three people walked in. Two girls. One boy. As soon as the girls walked in they continued crying but ran to Mac to hugged her. The boy just stood at the end of the bed smirking a little smile.

"Ariel oh my god I'm so glad your okay how do you feel?" One girl with blonde hair said.

"Yeah we were so worried about you! Do you need anything?" The other girl asked concerned

I wasn't quite sure if I could speak but I was still tired and a little confused. Of course I recognized Mac but these other two girls I just couldn't remember them.

Before I could even get a word out Mackenzie started saying how I might not be speaking because I feel too crowded so she took the two girls out of the room and left me with this guy who couldn't stop staring at me.

Eventually I finally got the words out and said

"uh uhm yeah hi, can you please stop staring at me?"

"How could I not look at such a beautiful face" He said smiling a little more

"Im sorry do I know you" Im not sure if it was something I said but all of a sudden this kids smile turned completely upside down and he looked devastated

*Hayes POV*

It was Tuesday afternoon and Ariel was still in the hospital because of the car crash.

Right now I was on my way to visit her and check up on how she was doing.

After our "conversation" on Sunday I went to the doctors and asked what was wrong and why she didn't remember me. The doctors said she has short term amnesia. A.K.A as of right now the only people she remembered was her mom and Mackenzie.

Emily and Kelly never left the hospital, and Mackenzie refused to any idea of leaving Ariel's side.

As soon as I got to the hospital I met up with Mackenzie and she walked me into the room.

"Hey Ariel, do you remember this boy from Sunday? His name is Hayes and he wants to speak with you is that okay?" Mackenzie said walking closer with me

"Aren't you the kid that called me beautiful?" She asked with a cute confused look on her face.

"Uhm if I was would that be sweet and sentimental?" I asked hoping she'd say yes

"No it was really gay" she said laughing a bit

"Well thats one thing I promise you I'm not" I winked

"Okay you two, let's start more basic... Ariel this is your boyfriend Hayes Grier. We all go to school together." Mackenzie sounded like an adult it was weird.

"M..my...boyfriend?" Ariel stuttered

"Yes, he is your boyfriend" Mackenzie nodded

"Oh"

I couldn't tell if Ariel was happily surprised or disappointed

"How do you feel about that?" I asked

"Uhm okay" she said smiling

Oh thank god

A few days later Ariel was released from the hospital and she was starting to remember little things.

She finally remembered her dad even though there wasn't much to remember considering how he's never there. And she remembered Emily and Kelly and thankfully me.

She missed one week of school and came back on monday. She was good in school just a little slower now but she'd catch up.

Everything was great until the text messages started rolling in again.
One after another
And another
Until finally Ariel got this one text
That scared everyone that knew about these messages...

" Hey Ariel, I really enjoyed our talk at the hospital. I told you everything who I was, why I'm texting you, I spilled it all. What a shame you forgot. Text ya later ;)"

HEY GUYS IM SO SO SO SO SORRY I HAVE NOT UPDATED :( I WILL BE HONEST I JUST DIDNT FEEL LIKE WRITING ANYMORE. IM STILL NOT SO SURE. I HOPE THIS WAS A GOOD ENOUGH CHAPTER :/ I MIGHT END THE BOOK AND BE OVER WITH IT OR CONTINUE IT IM NOT SURE TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS WHAT YOU THINK. IF ENOUGH OF YOU WANT ME TO CONTINUE I WILL :) ANYWAY I HOPE YOU LIKED THE CHAPTER, SORRY I HAD TO THROW IN A LITTLE PLOT TWIST;)
