*Disclaimer: I own nothing. No characters, no setting, I'm even taking some of the dialogue from the Trollhunters show (In order to see somethings in this story came from, go here: https://talesofarcadia.fandom.com/wiki/Becoming:_Part_1/Transcript). Rick Riordan and Guillermo Del Toro do, tho.*

"Good morning Arcadia Oaks! It's 4:30 am. If you're still in bed, you are missing the most beautiful sunrise, clear skies, and a beautiful morning ahead!"

The man on the radio continued to talk as multiple cars crossed the Arcadia Bridge. As the naive humans drive by, they don't hear or notice the commotion under the bridge. They aren't aware of the two warriors battling to the death.

Now, these aren'thumans, as you would expect. Instead of warriors made of flesh and bone, these two were made of stone (heh, that rhymes). They were both twice the size of an average male human, with hard, dark exteriors and thick appendages. Both had horns, flat noses, and strange eyes. One warrior was black and stenched of evil, wielding a large, dark sword. The other was blue and glowed a more light, non-evil aura (he was also smelly, though). He wore glowing armor and wielded a large sword of solidified, metallic light.

The dark one growled, as they fought and fought, both displaying mastery of combat. However, as the sun rose, their 'arena' was limited to the shadows under the bridge.

"Yield, Kanjigar!" yelled the evil one.

"A Trollhunter never yields! I'd rather die!" Kanjigar replied.

"Terms accepted!"

As they battle under the bridge, Kanjigar momentarily incapacitates the other creature. He points his weapon at his enemy.

"Your turn, Bular! Yield!" Kanjigar yells.

As the sun continues to rise, it shines on Kanjigar's shoulder, turning it to immovable stone. Bular uses this to turn the tables and kick his foe.

Kanjigar's sword slides out into the sunlight, which causes his hand to petrify (turn to stone) as he reaches for it. The amulet on his chest plate flickers.

"There is no where for you to run, Trollhunter. Give me the amulet." Bular tells him

Kanjigar runs up the side of the canal and leaps onto the underside of the bridge. He turns and clutches his sword. Bular jumps out from behind a support beam and swings around the beam to kick Kanjigar, who slams into a gutter. He jumps away as Bular lunges at him. Kanjigar hops down and hangs from the support beam while Bular chases. He swings back up and glances around. Bular tackles Kanjigar, his sword falls to the ground as Bular holds him over the edge. The sword shatters.

Bular laughs, and then says, "It all ends here."

The side of Kanjigar's face petrifies from the sunlight, and Bular pushes him further out. Bular claw-swipes at Kanjigar, who grabs his arm and holds it in the sun. Bular recoils and clutches his burning blue arm as it smokes. Kanjigar stands.

Bular says, "It's me or the sun. Either way, you're finished."

"No. The amulet will find a champion. We will stop you and your master. I may end, but the fight will not." was Kanjigar's response.

He made those his last words, for he crossed his arms, closed his eyes, and fell out into the sunlight. As he rapidly petrified, he landed on the canal floor and broke to pieces. He was felled (killed).

Bular gasps and yells "NO!", as he watches the amulet glow but cannot reach for it in fear of petrification via sunlight.

Of course, he isn't the smartest of rock-being, for he leans out and burns his face by mistake. He roars and punches a bridge support beam, as the amulet glows, ready to choose it's next warrior.
