*Sky's pov*
I'm walking home from school with my best friend Mandy. We are laughing and talking about school and how we don't want to do our homework. We reach my house and go separate ways. As I get into the house I go upstairs to my room and put my book bag on my bed. I change into some sweat pants and a baggy shirt. I go downstairs to get a snack and as I get to the kitchen my mom and dad is waiting there. "We have some news darling." My dad says. I can tell by the look on their faces it's not good. I ask, "Is everything okay?" I sit down and they start to tell me how we have to move to a small town in Arkansas. I have to move because my dad got transferred for work. I start crying because I have lived in Virginia my whole life. I have so many friends and my whole life is here. I run upstairs and lock myself in my room and call my bestie. We talk for hours and when I finally go back downstairs I ask, "When are we moving?" My mom answers, "Next week I'm so sorry sweetheart." I eat dinner and then go back upstairs. I go to sleep because I don't want to think of it anymore.
I wake up the next morning and go downstairs. I see my mom and say, "I had the worst dream ever. We was moving." She replied, "I wish it was a dream honey but it's true." My dad walked in with a bunch of boxes and that's when I knew it was real. "I'm sorry sweetheart but we have to start packing." ,my dad says. I sigh and take the boxes up to my room. Once I'm there I call my best friend. "Hey do you want to come over so we can hangout today while I'm packing?" I ask. She replies, "Already on my way see you soon!" She gets there within ten minutes. We hug for a long time and then I start to pack. "Let me help. It will get done faster and then we will have more time to hangout before you leave." ,She says. "Thank you." ,I reply. We finished packing that night and Mandy stayed the night. We watched air of movie had snacks and jammed out to musical until we fell asleep.
