Why do the birds go on singing? (Lord of the rings fanfic!)

Chapter 1. The unexpected...

(Kora's POV) 

I was taking a shower when Autumn came running in to the restroom "Kora! Kora!" she said like an exicted  child I peeked my head out of the shower my hair dripping wet on the floor "for the love of god will you give me at least an hour of silence!?" I yelled at her. "JOJO JUST INVITED US TO HIS PARTY!" she screamed I began to scream with her. You don't get it, this was a huge deal it was Jojo Jason! the hottest most popular guy on campus, and we were invited to his party. I got out of the shower and I dried my hair with a blow dryer quickly. After I was done I decided I wanted my hair curly and remberable. Once the curler was all heated up I went to work. Curling each of the strands of hair, slowly making sure they would turn into prefection. After a hafe of an hour curling I was done and my hair looked absolutely fabulous. I walked out of the restroom to see Autumn with curler in her hair and heavy make up, like always. I always told her to go light on the make up, but no she never listened to me. I decided to put on a little make up, I applied mascara, a touch of eyeliner, and some blush on my rosy cheeks. By the time i was done Autumn was too, she looked ravishing! her blond hair in perfect bouncy big waves, her lips were big and red. "ready? she asked "ready" i said. 

I opened the door for her and we walked outside to her car, Autumns familey was very weathly, in result she had a 2014 cherry red mustang.

This was one of the reasons we were even known for our nice car; she hopped into the drivers seat and me in the passengers then we were off. What i didn't know was this 15 minute drive would change our lives forever. Autumn was always a good driver so i was shocked when we swerved into the other lane, the crying sound of the tires I will never forget.

Nor will i foget the feeling of Autumn grabbing my hand right when the car knocked us in the lane on her side. the sight of her going limb, blood splattering everywhere. Then a few seconds of piercing pain when the car turned on it's side, then another hit then all I saw was darkness.
