Everest sat on a bench scrolling through her phone. "There's nothing interesting today.." They continued to look at their phone, but soon stopped and got up. "I've been here for a while maybe I should go home." Everest began to walk home but noticed someone familiar on the other side of the street. "Hey!! Hey Pk over here!" She waved over to him. At first Pumpkin Kid didn't notice her, so he kept walking awkwardly. After a while of glancing at them pk noticed that it was Everest, and waved back.
Evie smiled, and walked over to him. "How ya been Pk?" She put her hands in her pockets and continued to walk beside him. "Well I've been alright. What about you?" He looked over to her. "Pretty bored to be honest.." Everest said sighing, then she stopped walking. "Dude let's go to the arcade!" She said excitedly walking quickly in the direction of the arcade. "W-wait I didn't even respond..! Oh well-" Pk continued after her to the arcade.
Evie began to pant as she arrived to the arcade. "Maybe I shouldn't have ran.." As she caught her breath Pumpkin Kid reached her. "You know you could of..waited..for me.." He had to sprint to catch up. "I'm sorry-" Everest moved her hair back and chuckled. Pk shrugged. "It's alright-"Evie got all jumpy. "So what should we play first??" They asked tilting their head. "Uhm.. maybe uhm.... Ski ball?" He looked down. "Alrighty." Both of them walked over to the ski ball area and put in some coins. "I keep missing.." Pumpkin kid mumbles. "Try this." Everest stood on the skee ball lane to get closer and put the balls in the 1,000 slot. "Evie that's cheating! We could of gotten in trouble for that-" She got down. "Yeah, but we didn't. Plus look at all the tickets we got!" He sighed. "I suppose-"
"Look a claw machine!" They both rushed over to the jumbo claw machine. Everest's mouth opened. "I really that giant frog." Pk looked up. "I uhm.. I can get it for you!" He inserted some coins into the slot. "C'mon you got this." She tried to encourage him. "I got it! Evie I got it!" The frop plushy dropped down, so Evie went and grabbed it. "It was pretty eas-" Pk jumped as Everest hugged him. "I love it." Pumpkin kid blushed. "Oh uh yeAh it was nothing.." His voice cracked, being flustered n all.
After a while of playing games and taking pictures in a photo booth they sat on a bench eating popcorn. Everest layed her head on Pk. "Thanks..y'know for making today less boring.." Pk grinned. "I had a lot of fun." Evie smiled. "Ily Pk." Their faces shaded pink. "I love you too, Evie."
