There's some things that just don't make sense. Why is the world so harsh?? What happens when we die?? Why is mom making me get up at 8:30AM to clean the entire house?? That's the real question. 8:30AM on a Saturday. Today was supposed to be my 'relax' day. I didn't have school today, so I was planning on just sleeping the day away until night time where I can stay up all night getting crossed. But of course my mom would nag at me about that too. My mom basically finds a reason to complain about practically everything. It's like I never do anything right with her. Shes been more on my back lately about smoking weed; she wants me to get a job and she thinks that if I'm a stoner, nobody will want me. of course!! 'Cause that's how it works, Anne. I'm only 17, I don't see why I would need a fucking job. It's not like I'm gonna do that right either.

Anyways, why am I reciting my entire life to you like Shakespeare?? That's pretty geeky. Whatever, Welcome to my life either way. My name is Gia. Actually, It's Georgie but I would probably throat chop anyone who called me that. I live in a small one story house with my two younger brothers and my hobbies consist of sleeping and..sleeping!! I don't do anything, my life is boring. My mom is too poor for us to do anything so I never got the childhood I was supposed to have.

My dad is supposed to be paying child support but I think thats the least of his worries. We grew up with them fighting all the time. I remember once we were going to the movies but we never actually went because my parents ended up fighting over the time we needed to leave and by the time they had negotiated, it was 30 minutes into the movie. We missed it. Pathetic, right. That's my family for ya. Ever since the divorce, both of my parents have been dating like mad. It's cool, I suppose. I get to meet a new guy every week with my mom. For some reason, she lets me. Great way to put your daughter in danger, let her meet your sketchy guys that you just newly started sexting. I hate her.

My thoughts are interrupted by my mother's footsteps. "Gia, I told you to get up. Come on, the house needs to be cleaned by the time Josh gets here." I sigh. I get out of bed and find a shirt to wear. What should I wear?? I dig through shirts that most likely haven't been washed in weeks, I never find the motivation to do any cleaning. A 'Nirvana' T shirt shows itself as I'm rummaging through the pile. I pick it up and start putting it on.

My mom grows inpatient; I guess I was taking too long. "GEORGIE!!" Cunt. She knows I don't like being called that, but she calls me it anyway. Oh, mother of mine!! You've truly outdone yourself as mother of the year. I snap back at her now, "I HAD TO PUT A SHIRT ON!! UNLESS YOU WANT ME WALKIN' AROUND WITH MY TITS HANGIN' OUT THEN I SUGGEST YOU WAIT A FUCKING SECOND."

I guess she doesn't like that, I leave my messy bedroom to see my *very* excited mother standing right at the door. "Don't talk to me like that, I am your mother and you give me respect no matter what. Listen, just because I'm a single mom now, DOESN'T mean you guys can treat me like i'm nothing. I have feelings too and when you yell at me, It only creates more trouble for you."

Wow. Splendid!! Defending herself again, how
in character could she possibly be. I stare at her for a moment before walking off. I could care less about whatever she wants to say. I start my cleaning so I can just leave this shithole already.

Darriel and Keon. My brothers!! I walk downstairs and see them situated on the couch, playing video games like usual. They're twins. Not identical though, I think my mom would lose track of whose who if they were. Darriel has dreads that reach his ears, he's a good kid. He gets good enough grades for my moms approval and He listens when spoken to. I have my bets placed on him to be the "Non-disappointment" of the family. He rocks hoodies with some sweats and Airforce ones.

Keon is more reckless. He has shorter hair with a fade at the bottom. He's always getting hurt, but I don't really think he cares. Funny story, Me and him used to be best buds when we were younger. Nothing really happened between us, I just fell into a depression and had to deal on my own, which, caused me to isolate myself from everyone. I really don't mind being alone, but. Sometimes, I miss the fun I had with him. That wasn't exactly "funny", but I'd like to laugh at how sad that is, rather than mope about it.

I greet the boys, "Hey, dudes. Playin mario again??" I don't know how to talk to them. My brothers look at me, almost in sync. "You bet." Laugh. I force one out. They just go back to playing, whatever.

The house isn't THAT messy, but my mom is a neat freak and she likes everything to be set up her way. If you place something in a slightly off position, prepare for the lecture.

I clean as fast as I can. While washing the dishes, I think to myself. Should I buy a couple energy drinks??? I could really use a monster right now, I barely slept last night. My body hurts, but I want my mom to be happy with me for once so I work as hard as I can.

Once I finish dishes and every other possible chore in this house, I head up to my room to get dressed. Getting out of the house is a good idea, I wouldn't wanna meet whoever this "Josh" dude is. Sounds like another druggy. Her last guy she brought over was ACTUALLY a drug dealer. How do we know this?? She searched him up. He had records of drug dealing and DUIs in the past. I didn't really see much wrong with it, but my mom didn't like the idea of having another stoner in the house.

I reached my bedroom and immediately shut the door. Back to rummaging through that pile of clothes. I piece an outfit together, black button up with black stockings and a skirt. Somethings off, I bend down and find a denim jacket throughout everything in that horrid pile. Better.
Whatever, time to leave.
