Chapter 1: Moving In

Mom: HONEY COME ON WE'RE LATE FOR OUR FLIGHT!
Y/N: coming mom yesh!
Your mom always wanted to be extra early at the airport but me, I didn't really care. After the lost of my sisters death mom changed but for the better. Although she acted like nothing happened and I couldn't stand that. The lost of my sister. People telling me, "Oh your the sister of the girl who died!" Like yeah I was and she had a name. Lola. She was the only there for me. Mom had just gotten out of a divorce with my alcoholic father. She got this really good job in NYC but wanted to live in NJ to be more connected to her "home town."
Pilot: Attention all passengers please buckle up as we are about to fly!
Everybody in the plane buckled up. Mom was being excited for no reason and me, plain old mom just plugged my airpods in my ear and jammed to music throughout the whole flight.

We arrived to our new house. It was nice and cozy. We soon drived off to our aunts house and as we were driving I noticed a group of boys together. A tall good looking kid, a small one, a like medium sized, one wasn't as small as the first one, and the last one was tall but not as tall as the one I noticed first. I made eye contact with the tall one and I looked away and looked right at my phone. Little did I know we were already here. As it seems my aunt probably lived near them. Great. Just great.

Aunt: Y/N how have you been! You've grown so much oh gosh!
Y/N: Yeah I've grown so much...
Aunt: Y/N, I know I'm so sorry about your sister. She said pulling me away from my mom. You know I'm here if you need anything.

I just nodded and hugged her. Other than Lola, my aunt was the closest thing I had or considered family. I went outside to just catch some air and look around. That's when I spotted the same group of boys. I looked away but the tall one spotted me and yelled, "Hey, wait up!" I didn't know him but I saw him and his group walking up to me.

??: Hey are you new to NJ?
Y/N: Yup how'd you know?
??: He chuckled and said, "I know like everyone here."
Y/N: Oh well I just moved in. I'm Y/N
Mattia: Hi I'm Mattia. Those stupid idiots are Kairi, Alejandro, Robert, Alavaro, and Roshaun.
Kairi: Dude shut up it's not cool. Hi I'm Kairi sorry about him.

Everyone just giggled and I looked over to see my aunt signaling for me to go eat inside. I told them, "Um well I'll see you guys around I guess I have to go eat." They all nodded and Mattia looked at me and winked. I felt a ting of like embarrassment but it was cute. As they were walking away my aunt said, "Y/N invite them to eat with us."

Y/N: Auntie there's no need.
Aunt: Y/N, you made some new friends that's a fresh start please invite them.

I groaned and walk up to them and asked them if they wanted to come inside to eat. They all nodded and came inside. Well this is just embarrassing. We all took a seat down at the table and my mom and aunt started making conversation. Maybe this wouldn't be a bad year.

Mom: So where do you young lovely boys go to school?
Y/N: Mom I said glaring at her.
Mattia: he chuckled and said, "Passaic Valley High School."
Mom: Oh Y/N that's where your going to school!
I chocked on my food and Kairi came running over to me patting me in the back.
Kairi: Y/N are you ok?!
Y/N: Yeah I just chocked on some food. I'm going to the restroom.
Alejandro: Ok well i'll leave some water next to your food.
Roshaun: Yeah bestie
Everyone giggled.

This is great. Now I have to see their faces everyday. It's not bad but like what if they find me annoying or something. I cant worry now. This is time for a fresh start right?
