"I'll see you all tomorrow," I said before adjusting my Chanel bag on my shoulder.

The work day was over with, and I couldn't wait to get home to my husband and son. I loved my job, but I loved my little family more.

After 6 long hardworking years in college, I was finally being called, Dr.Mckensie. I worked my a** off in school for this, and it was finally reality.

As I drove through the evening of Manhattan, my phone rang in the passenger seat. Pressing the answer button on my car, Paris's voice boomed through the speakers.

"Hey wife," he said as Wisdom talked in the background.

"Aweeee hey mommy handsome man," I cooed , completely ignoring Paris.

"D*mn, you not even gon acknowledge a nigga?" he chuckled.

"I'm sorry baby," I chuckled.

"Yeah yeah whatever. I was gon ask if you could pick up some pizza on the way back. Wis said he hungry."

"Are you sure it's Wis that's hungry?" I squinted my eyes even though he couldn't see me.

"Kim stop playing and just bring the pizza," he said before hanging up.

Rolling my eyes, I took off in the direction towards Lombardi's.

"Thank you for watching Wis, it's been so long since Kim and I had a night to ourselves," I said placing Wis on the couch next to Daisy's daughter, Jasmine.

Even though our friendship had been strained a couple years ago, we were closer than we ever been. We just let bygones be bygones and went on with our lives. Life was too short to stay mad at each other. We had been friends for years, and we weren't willing to let the friendship die. That was my lil rider.

"You know I don't mind watching my baby," Daisy grinned looking back at Wis.

"We'll be back no later than 10. Bye Wis, I love you," Kim cooed.
