chapter one. 

Meeting him.

Finally the bell rings sending off the message to the rowdy teens of santa cruze that schools over,and summer is in. Walking through the halls Sky and i hear some kids talking about a beach bonfire down at west beach thats happening tonight, i give her the look of lets go!! She looks at me giving with a big smile and says hell yes. As we make our way to the school parking lot we can't help but talk about tonight and the fun we will be having. In my car, blasting country music on the way to Sky's house we just sing at each other like the loser we are, being best friends sinc the firstday of highchool we dont care that we look like compleat fools. Pulling into the drive way at Sky's we see a tall guy in her living room window. I ask her who it is, knowing it's not her dad she says oh shit and slumps down in the passenger seat. sill confused i ask again, Sky who is that? she looks at me and say its my cousin jude i totally forgot he was coming today. she tell me hes 19 an de his parents are having a hard time so hes staying with her family this summer, she doesn't tell me to much before we get out of my car and head up to the door. As soon as we go in he's there in the living room, he's tall has dark hair and amazing blue eyes. Sky pulls me over to him to introduce us as he sicks out with hard to shake mine i cant help with stair at with dreamy eyes. He looks at me and in a deep voiced say hey i'm Jude and you must be Aspyn. Still looking at him i say hey ya thats me, its nice to meet you Jude. After a bit of catching up Sky and i go up to her room and she picks out what she wants to wear to the bonfire tonight, She choose's light blue ripped jeans and a white tank and a plaid to tye around her wast for later if she gets cold. When we go back down to the living room to leave Jude's sitting on th couch watching some tv, I thnk to myself thst we should ask him if he wants to come. I give sky th go ask him look as i put my shoes on. Sky calls over to Jade and say's hey you wanna come this bonfire tonight? He looks at her then me, I give him a cute smile and he looks bqck at Sky and say's yeah why the hell not?! In my car now i say to both Sky and Jude before we hit the onfire i wanna make a quick stop and chnge out of my school clothes. They both look at me and say sure. At my house now i run up to my room ande leave Sky and Jude in the living room, searching my closet for something cute to wear i grab my light blue jeans a black tank and white sweater. i quickly get dressed leaving out the sweater becausev in already really warm from rushing to get ready. I take my hair out of the messy bun its in from when i showerd this morning, my hair is now down and has really nice beachy wave look to it. I walk back down the stairs to meet Judes eyes on me, i bloush and give him a sweet smile. He smiles back before tuning to Sky saying Aspyn's ready. She tuns around giving me a damn you look pretty good smile. Now in the car on the way to the bonfire its pretty quite so i out on some music and we all start moving our heads to the beat. Finally at the bonfire were all standing together talking but soon one of Sky's friends come and pulls her away from us so now iys just me and Jude standing alone. He looks at me and smiles and kinda giggles i loook at him and say what nervusly, he comes a little closer to me and says nothing just that you look really good. i gve him a smile and syaq thanks. We get bored of witing for Sky to come back so we go for a little walk on the beach, as were walking and talking he kick's a bit of the cold ocean water on my jeans. He's quickly say sorry all i do is kick a little water back at him smiling like its a game, he smiles and laughs. While walking i manage to trip over my own feet but i didn't fall and i can feel hand around my wast. I look up see Judes eyes and he's looking at mine, were so close we could almost kiss. We hear Skys voice coming towards us. He releases his grip and im back on my own feet. i loook at him once more and he gives me a quick wink ten says heey Sky you back?...
