"Oh my god. What is she doing here, baby?" She saddled up next to Xavier, running her hands through his hair.
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
"Have you two met?" He asked, looking back and forth between her and I.
"Unfortunately, yes. I don't think I ever got your name though." I responded.
"Fiona." She held her hand out like I was supposed to grab it and kiss it.
I stared at it for a couple moments, then turned around. That fucking asshole didn't want Jacob giving me compliments, but he could have a whole girlfriend. I get it, I'm new, but this was ridiculous.
I checked my watch. 7:23. Fuck.
"Hey everyone, great meeting you all, but I have to go. I'll see you at school tomorrow."
"Hey, wait. Why are you leaving already?" Xavier pulled away from Fiona, taking a step closer to me. I took a step back in response.
"Late for dinner." I shrugged, putting my purse back on my shoulder.
"Let me walk you to your car." He spoke, stepping closer again.
"No."
"It's dangerous walking by yourself at night." He responded.
"You out of everyone should know that I'm perfectly capable of handling myself." I growled back.
"I know, but it would make me feel better." He responded, grabbing my elbow.
"Fine. I won't walk to the car by myself." I huffed, pulling my elbow from his hand.
"Thank you." He smirked. Aw. He thought he won. Cute.
"Jacob? Will you walk me to my car?" I asked, sickly sweet.
"Sure thing, princess." He smirked, walking over to me, throwing his arm over my shoulders.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Apple... Don't test me." He growled.
"Bye everyone! Great meeting all of you, except you of course, Fiona." She scoffed. "See you all tomorrow!" I smiled, and walked towards my car, Jacob with me.
"Xavier, what did you call her? Who was she?" Fiona kept pestering him with questions.
"You know, X is gonna kick my ass for walking with you." Jacob joked.
"I know. Hope you can handle yourself." I smiled, looking up at him.
"Do you know who you're talking to?" He laughed.
"Alright, alright." I shook my head as we reached my car. "Can you do something for me, J?" I asked.
"Of course."
"Great." I responded. "Come here." I pulled him closer. I ruffled his hair up and made it look messy. Then, I took some of my tinted Chapstick, kissed my hand, and pressed my hand all over Jacobs mouth.
"Put this on." I handed him the Chapstick.
"Oooh. You wanna make him jealous with a good ol' fashioned fake make-out session." He smirked.
"Exactly. You get me." I laughed. I smeared the Chapstick across his face. I grabbed a pen from my purse and wrote my phone number on his arm.
"Okay. You are good to go. Wait here for a while so he thinks something's happening." I high fived him.
"Oh boy. We are playing with fire." He laughed.
"You sure you can handle it?" I questioned.
"Of course. Now you go, have fun at dinner. I'll text you what happens."
"Sounds good. Bye J!"
XAVIERS POV
"Xavier, what did you call her? Who was she?" Fiona kept pestering me with questions.
"Nothing, but we have to talk." I dragged her away from the group. They were still silent from what just went down, but of course Missy was the first one to speak.
"Listen, Fiona, this isn't gonna work between us. We've done this plenty times before and it never works. I'm sorry." I told her; I could see the rage building up in her dark brown eyes.
"Fuck. You. All of this because of that whore that you just met?!"
"DON'T YOU FUCKING TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT." I screamed at her.
She scoffed.
"That's okay. I can get better dick from someone else anyway." She laughed and walked away.
"Yeah, good luck with that." I mumbled.
I walked back and sat in a chair next to Jess.
"Jacob back yet?" I asked. It had been about 30 minutes. I took a walk around the beach to clear my head, and he still wasn't back. What the fuck were they doing? Minutes later I finally saw Jacobs figure walking back towards the group.
"What the fuck took you so long?!" I questioned angrily. It was at that moment I took in is image. His hair was messed and crazy, his mouth and face looked like he had been kissing someone, and a phone number was written on the inside of his forearm.
"What did you do with my Apple?" I growled threateningly. The image of her running her hands through his hair pissed me off more than anything else I've ever experienced.
"Oh, Anna?" He smirked. "Nothing much. Good nickname, though. That's exactly how her lips taste. Must be the Chapstick she uses."
I saw red.
"You fucker. I'm gonna kill you." I lunged for him, landing a couple punches on his face. Ash jumped in and tried to pull me off him.
"Let me go! He crossed the fucking line." I shoved Ash out of the way.
"You know, I might just start calling her Apple too." He smirked, wiping his blood off his lip. That was it. My breaking point. I landed one more punch to his eye, knocking him out. I lifted his arm, and grabbed my phone, dialing the numbers into my contacts.
"Good job, X. Now you have to drive him home." Ash complained. I know I knocked him out, but I new he would be okay. All of us guys got in fights every now and then, and whoever knocked the other out had to drive him home and make sure he was okay.
"Whatever." I grumbled.
I pressed call, and heard the ring, waiting for a sweet voice.
"Jacob?" She asked.
"Try again, Apple." I smirked.
