Y/N and Yaku were childhood friends till the age of 6 before Y/N had to move to go to America. Since childhood, they had done everything together, eaten together fought by one another you name it and they had done it. So when they found out they had to be separated from each other they thought what any child would think to run away. Long after they decide to 'run away' the parents started to worry since they couldn't find their kids. When the parents found out they were missing they did a search around the neighborhood yelling out for their names. Hearing the yells of their parents They started to run faster and faster through the fields till it started to rain hard getting up on to a tree for shelter where they thought no one will find them but as they started to climb Y/N suddenly slipped while trying to climb up the tree, yaku try to get her grabbing her arm only making them both fall down but yaku somehow saved Y/N from the hard ground with his own body holding on to her as his life depended on it. As they hit the ground they fell unconscious by the impact. Eventually, the parents found them both bleeding from their hands, and Yaku also bleeding from his back where he took the worse impact. Yaku woke up later than Y/N just to find out Y/N had already left to America without being able to say goodbye he felt lonely, distancing himself from others and getting easily irrated to avoid people as much as he could never getting over Y/N leaving him.

¥Present Time¥

Y/N had just come to Japan entering in the middle of the school year still remembering places from her childhood she when to her favorite store where she and Yaku would always go and mess around at. As she was grabbing her favorite snack she saw someone else hand going for the same sweet both shocked they looked at each other since the sweet wasn't well known and always had an odd sweetness to it making many people dislike it. They apologized to each other and content on to talking about the sweet. Yaku surprisingly not bothered by the conversation much was odd since he would just have a small chat with someone and then leave as soon as possible but this time things were different since they spent a good 15minutes talking with each other before checking the time realizing it was the time for school. They both when to the cashiers and paid for their things waving bye to each other before they headed to school in different routines.

Authors P.O.V

Y/N was scared to say the very least she was about to enter her class in the middle of the school year anxiety running all over her body. Finally being able to walk inside in front of the class where the teacher was already waiting for her she smiled at the teacher forcing it looking around the class when she spotted someone familiar it's was Yaku she chuckled slightly giving him a bright happy smile when their eyes met feeling revealed she wasn't alone this school year. As soon as she smiled Yaku's mouth open slightly in surprise but soon getting his conscious back shaking his head looking away blushing slightly away when he sees the female smile reminding Y N's smile from the past when they where both younger. Being asked to sit right next to Yaku he sits next to him smiling 'Hey yaku!' She said in a low whisper so she didn't have to disturb anyone. Not long After the class had been over the class was able to talk with each other alone having free time to hang out and such Y/N smiling happily to him she was surprised when Yaku decided to tell her off but that not stopping her from still asking his permission to hang around with him. She wanted to get close to him for some reason she would often back down when someone told her off but this time she didn't want to it was actually the last thing she wanted to do. Something about Yaku made her relax and just smile, to say the least. Before being dismissed to head to their other class the teacher let Y/N and Yaku get out early so that Yaku could show Y/N around the school. Unlike Y/N, Yaku wasn't too pleased to show Y/N around he just wanted to relax but he knew he couldn't so he gave her a quick tour around the school. 'I remember this place when I was a kid j would always wonder around this high school to see where the big kids would go so I would be cool I miss childhood' Y/N chuckles "are there any clubs am able to join? Like sports-wise?'' Yaku looked at her thinking for a second 'the only club I can think of is Either gymnastics or maybe volleyball thats it the other sports you must enter since school starts' " oh? Then I guess I will try does out maybe Gymnastics I love volleyball but haven't played since I was young so I would be rusty at it but thank you!" 'Well that's about all the important things you need to know so I will get going' Yaku started to walk away but before he could leave Y/N grabs his sleeve and tuck on it "can I sit with you in lunch? I don't like being lonely" she looked down embarrassed slightly blushing 'Yeah no no way I eat alone go make someone else your friend' "but I still want to eat with you thought, please? Just for a little bit till I get some friends? '' she looked at him with puppy eyes that no one could resist 'Fine you can eat with me but only till you find friend' yaku sighed before he felt around him it was Y/N hugging hum tightly " thank you so much!!!" 'I- let me go!! You moron!!' Yaku said irritatedly blushing pulling away "sorry!!! You just looked so tiny and adorable I just had to hug you!!" 'I- shut it!! Don't be so honest ' "oh? So you know am being honest'' Y/N chuckles and follows a pouty Yaku
