Alice Johnson waited outside her house, an old peeling, maroon, trunk at her feet. Fiddling with her rings, she sits on the curb waiting for their arrival. It's a chilly night, only 6pm but still the wind bites at her fingertips. She rubs her forearms with her hands as to try and warm herself up.

"Come on... where are you?" She says impatiently, looking out into the starry, black sky. Her eyes squint as she faintly sees two bright lights floating in the air, drifting closer and closer. It almost looks like they're-
"Headlights." She whispers to herself. "About time too."

She stands up and covers a hand over the top of her head, shielding her eyes from the lights that project and glare at her. The car, if you can call it a car, slowly makes its way to the ground. The old fashioned Ford Anglia is a worn away turquoise colour and as old and rusty as it looks, the metal along the boot and bonnet are as smooth and shiny as it would have been when first bought. Probably back in the 1960's. Alice can't help but smile as the two very familiar but somehow... cuter faces beam back at her. Their red hair seems to have grown much over the last time she'd seen them, and they look much older than she remembered. It had only been half a year.

"Hello!" They smile in unison. Fred and George Weasley. As much as they're stupidity spoke more than themselves, they had always managed to make Alice feel better, even when she felt horrible. Alice smiles back, as Fred and George get out of the car to greet her in person. With Alice reasonably tall at 5'6, the twins seemed to have grown even taller than they already were. She had to guess they were at least 6 foot 3.

"Kept me waiting long enough!" She laughed as she embraced them both with a tight hug.
"Sorry about that." Fred remarked. "Had to change a tire on the way you see." George finished.
"Oh yeah? Why's that?"
"George here and I have been doing donuts around the house." Fred snickered. "Must have worn out the tires." He said, feeling his hand along the front one which looked incredibly cleaner than the others which were covered in dried mud and grass. Alice rolled her eyes playfully.
"Right, let's get my shit into the car and get outa here."

Alice looks up to her townhouse. Her parents did have magic heritage however they hated the thought of sending her away to a school far away, for a whole year. Yet Alice's thrill for adventure and breaking of rules came flooding through her, hence why the twins always came to pick her up.

She jumped into the middle-front seat of the car.
"Language, young lady." Fred says, jumping in beside her, smirking. She scoffs, and looks at him. The way his chocolate brown eyes sparkled even in the dark of the night, bewildered her. He looked away when George got in on the other side of Alice.
"You ready?" Asked George.
"Ready as i'll ever be."
George reared up the engine and began to fly the car into the sky as fast as he could, so that no muggles would see.

George placed his middle finger on the silver button in the middle of the car and pressed it. Suddenly the Ford was cloaked with invisibility. Finally they were up in the air. It was a clear night, the clouds had found somewhere to hide as they soared through the starry sky.

...

The trip would take around an hour and Alice was feeling extremely tired, from the restless nights she'd been having earlier. As the car drifted in the night, so did her owl, Cat. Yes the owls name is Cat. An owl white as snow, with piercing blue eyes and sharp claws. Quite like Hedwig, although Cat was much larger. George was driving, as Fred fiddled with his wand.

"So tell me Williams," Says George. "You ready for your fourth year?"
Alice thinks for a moment. Seeing all her friends, a whole new timetable with different people and possibly new teachers.
"Yeah, I am."
"Sheesh, fourth year?" Scoffs Fred. "Your practically still a baby aren't you?" He says, smirking down at her. Alice hits him over the head with her hand as he laughs.
"Shut up Fred. You're the one to talk, 6th year huh? God, your an old man." She says, offended.
"Hey, that means you're callin' me an old man too!" George yells, getting distracted.
"Keep your eyes on the road you moron!" Fred yells back, as the car tilts to the side a bit, than steadies.
"Anyways," Alice says, changing the subject. "D'you think Snape's finally gonna get his dream job?"
"Hard to say." Fred says, looking out the window.
"You'd think after all these years professor Dumbledore would give it to him." George stated.
"Yeah well Snape probably deserves another subject, considering what happened with that
first grader..." Fred mumbled.
George immediately stared at Fred then Alice, a concerned look on his face.
"Shit... wasn't meant to say that." Fred whispered, his fingertips on the bridge of his nose.

"Wait.. what happened with this first grader you say?" Alice asked intrigued, sitting up in her seat.
"Look love, Fred didn't mean to spill the beans, Dumbledore told us not to be telling anyone you see"
"Come off it George, the owls already out of the cage. Just tell her." Fred looked down at her, they're eyes locking.
"You'll just have to keep that pretty little mouth shut~"
Alice blushes as George looked at them, his eyebrow raised. Than continued looking out the window into the darkness.
"Well," George started. "At the end of last year, we had a detention with this first grader for setting off the potions alarm in one of Snape's classes..."
Fred snickered as George rolled his eyes at his brother.

"We had no idea what he did but it must have been pretty serious considering the consequences."
Fred looked over to George and continued for him.
"We don't even know if Snape was allowed to do this, but he took us three to the Forbidden Forest to... discard of a dead Centaur he had found a couple nights before..."
Alice covers her mouth and gasps. A grim expression lay on both their faces.
"Then," George continued. "One of the Centaurs' mates came up to us and believed we were the ones who.. you know."
"Did it." Fred said quickly.
"Yeah... so he shot an arrow through the first graders arm, then he started bleeding, real bad. Long story short Snape cast a spell to rid of the beast and took him swiftly to the Hospital Wing."
"Madam Pomfray wasn't please." Fred chuckled.

"No need to worry," George laughed, seeing the look on Alice's face. "He survived, but Dumbledore sure was pissed at Snape for doin' it. Anyway, professor D told us to not say a word, so you better keep this to yourself." Fred said sternly looking at her again. She nodded in agreement, as they all commenced chatting about lighter topics.
