Two young children at the age of 11 both wondered the checkered tiled hall. Hand in hand, they each happily smiled when they finally reached their destination.
The room in front of them was wide open and soft music could be heard playing in the background. The girl, looking around the seemingly empty room, frowned Confusingly, she turned to her twin brother in question."I told him we'd be coming... where do you think he went?" She asked, her voice laced with disappointment and sadness.
The boy frowned at the look on his sisters face, hating seeing her so upset."I don't know—maybe he...."
"Hey!"
Turning around, the boy and girl look to see just who they were waiting for. He came forward with a few snacks in hand and three drinks.
A happy smile etched onto his face as he sees his best friends waiting for him."Klaus!" The girl exclaimed happily.
The three then finally head into the room. The door closing behind them as they gather in a small circle.
"I thought you forgot! Where did you go?" She asks as her brother hands her a small bag of her favorite chips.
"To get the snacks, duh. Now, what board game shall we begin with today?"
For the three Hargreeves children, playing a board game at the end of the week was a solid tradition that they created.
It started when the three would come home after a mission; the others going off and doing their own thing, leaving them behind. It was something they all loved doing together. It was Something their father couldn't take away from them because it was their secret. Sunny Hargreeves thought for a moment before she said her answer.
"I was thinking...Snakes and ladders!"Klaus and Ben Hargreeves each groaned in slight annoyance. "But we always play that one! And you always win!" Ben exclaims.
Sunny couldn't help but let out a small giggle. "I can't help that you guys suck at it." She said, playfully.
Klaus let out a dramatic gasp. "I do not suck at this game! You just cheat!"
The three all shared a laugh. Sunny opened the game box and set up the board. The game had begun.

___ Another flashback ___
It was a normal day at the Academy. There were no missions and training was finished for some but not others. Sunny sat as she listened to Vanya play her violin. The girl slightly jealous that she had that kind of talent and she didn't.
She didn't know where her twin brother was, or where Klaus was, But she figures they were somewhere together.
As Sunny Listened, she held a book in hand. It was one of favorite's, The Great Gatsby. It was her turn to read it after Ben had finished it. She always made sure to read the small notes he would often put in the margins of each page.
His writing would be in red while hers would be in blue. They would circle and underling sentences that would remind them of each other.
When the sudden sound of the violin stopped, she looked up at the sight of her father. Vanya stood still as he called for Sunny.
"It's your time for individual training, Number Eight." He informed. His red book clutched to his side.
Sunny couldn't help but shiver at thought of what she was about to endure. The girl hesitated before she got up. Fear striking her body as she followed the tall man. Her head turned back to Vanya as she watched her sister walk away.
As Sunny walked on, she couldn't help but drop her book to the ground as she neared the room.
"Today, you will focus on breathing. To Enhance your breathing time, or you will be obliged to stay in the room until you do. Now, let's begin." He says.
Without warning, the girl was grabbed by the arm and thrown into the freezing cold water.
Meanwhile, after Sunny had left, Vanya was quick to pick up the dropped book. She held it tightly in her hand as she made her way to Sunny and Ben's room.
Ben, who sat on the bed watching Klaus take a sip from his silver flask, turned his head to the side as he heard someone at the door. He squinted his eyes at the sight of Vanya, but no Sunny.
Vanya slowly approaches the bed and handed the book to Ben.
"Where's Sunny?" He asked Taking the book from her. He placed it to his side.
"Dad took her for training..." the girl said sadly.Ben's eyes widen. The thought of her training now worrying him as he knew she hated using her power almost as much as he hated using his.
"What—when? How long has it been?" Ben asked. His questions coming out all at once.
Vanya shook her head and raised her hand up to try and calm him down.
"Not too long ago, only for a few minutes..."Tubing to Klaus, he said, "get her blue blanket...and her favorite chips."
Klaus nodded and moved slowly to the other side of the shared room, this side of the room obviously made it clear that it was Sunny's.The bright purple and yellow bedsheet and scattered pictures on the wall told them that it was her's. Though she was Ben's twin, and they had multiple similarities, there were equally that many differences.
Going to the bed, Klaus grabbed the fuzzy blue blanket from the corner of it and then hurried to the kitchen and found their secret stash of treats. He passed his mother who was working in the kitchen.
By the time he got back to the room, he was surprised to now see Sunny as she sat beside Ben, who gently rubbed her arm in comfort.
He rushed and wrapped the blue blanket around the shivering girl and handed her the bag of chips. They smiled softly at each other. Klaus then walked over back to his spot and watched as Ben whispered comforting things in his twin's ear.
Klaus couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if he had his own twin. He knew that his other siblings were always sort of jealous that they had that special connection, being actually related supposed to not.
though, he sometimes found it cool.
