Chapter 12-Understanding Shirou Pt.2

After that "situation" with Shirou, I made my way to city hall that Lyla suggested as a meetup place.
I started looking around for her checking corner by corner.i then locate a similar silhouette behind the silver wolf statue." There you are! " i shouted as i got closer to her.
"Isn't he just fabulous?" She muttered her eyes still mesmerized by the statue." huh? "
"A protective wolf god that looks over beastmen and gives them hope and safety, do you believe in that. Mihiro?" she looks over to me. 
"I've had my doubts before but I think i do believe in him even though i have no proof, it's nice to have something to believe in." I said uncertainly." I see, well we didn't come here just to blabber anyways"
"What are we here for again?"i asked cluelessly.
 "I forgot to tell you.I need some supplies, I thought you could give me a hand since you know way more about the place." she explained."Oh yeah totally! let's start."

We entered Shop after Shop. Lyla was never able to control herself whenever a product or an item caught her eyes, We bought groceries and shoes Lots of shoes, the amount of bags started to get absurd and of course, I did most of the lifting work like a true gentleman but my arms started getting numb, but I did owe it. if it wasn't for her I wouldn't even be in Anima city.

After the shopping spree. we walked down the quiet streets of animacity close to the peer and docks hoping to see a beautiful sunset." Phew i think I'm done for today it sure was a hard one " she sighed.
("you don't say.")
my subconscious self couldn't help but sass.
As we walked on the streets i notice a pet store which was very understandably confusing.I stopped in my tracks staring at it.
i get the surreal sudden flashback of Shirou itching his neck. that leather collar must have been tingling or stinging his scar. 
Lyla notices so she marches back."You ok there?" "i wanna see if i can find something" i exclaim. "then let's go" she smiled cheerfully.

" A dog collar????" She questioned loudly making the owner jump
"SHHHH well yeah but it's not for me its for someone else" I tried keeping her down.
"Ohhh now that you mention it that boyfriend of yours did wear a collar" "He's not my boyfriend!!!" I Shout my lungs out.
Soon after that the shop starts shacking increasingly."Whats going on?She freaks out. "an earthquake?" i question.
"No! look"the cashier then points at the window. 
Loud Stompimg noises get louder and louder. a big shadow figure starts forming by the second
in sync with our increasing heartbeat rates the pets in the store started freaking out too, till it suddenly got quiet for a minute.
i opened the door slowly and peeked my head out. only to see the horrendous menacing figure of what looked like a crow beastman green glowing vains all over his body he was preparing to fly by the look of his stance until a tall figure kicks the rampaging beast men making him lose his footing.

"Michiru,Now!" it shouts,it was none other then Shirou holding down that thing down. Michiru climbs over as she shapeshifts her hands into Long Large wings and Legs into Bird ones. she grasps onto the beastman's legs  and Flies over. (they haven't noticed me).

"I'm going after them stay here Lyla!" I run off following them from behind. they were getting closer to the pier Michiru struggling to hold him down she dropped the crow along with Shirou in a depot like building.not long after she glides down the hole the fall left. i scoot closer to the building opening the large metal door slightly to peak in on the action.

"Shirou it's time!" Michiru yells out. Shirou nods and as he takes his collar off he suddenly freezes on the spot grasping his neck tightly. the Rampaging beastman takes advantage of the opportunity and knocks out Shirou cold with a wing slap to the head his body flew landing on wooden cargo boxes blood coming down his head.
Michiru tried to help him out but only ends up with her body pinned down by the bird's feet.desperately punching them with her gorrila arms as he crushed her even more.
I stood frozen by the horrible sight of my friends getting attacked even Shirou couldn't take him "what do i do?! what can i do?! what do i?!" Clenching my fists tightly.
(NO i will not let them go like this) i kick open the metal door. rushing in to help Michiru."Mihiro? No get out of here!"
I ingnored her voice and climb over the crow My arms in their beast form i start punching his beak as i knew it was his most sensitive spot he started screeching in pain as i led out a frenzy of punches he tried shacking me off but i held onto his head and punched "You will not hurt my Friends!! NOT ON MY WATCH!!" i give him a final blow giving him a small crack till he got knocked down to the ground.the dust from all the flapping surrounding us.

"Mihiro!!"michiru runs to me helping me up as i was too exhausted.She helps Shirou off the pile of boxes he smashed into then he wakes up giving me a shocked look "Mihiro did it Shirou he got him!"She Informs. he brushes off the blood on the back of his head."Were not done"
The bird wakes up bigger then ever his wings all sharp claws with only rage in his eyes "Impossible.." i muttred in disbelief. "Michiru take Mihiro out of here."Shirou orders "are you sure you're gonna be okay?" She asks "Yes now go" he asserted.
i rested my arm around her shoulder as we walked as fast as we could. But the bird Ignored Shirou and flapped his wing towards us i pushed Michiru off me taking the blow as i got sent to a wall feeling a crack on my left arm, i yell out in pain from the recoil. i was minutes from passing out if it wasnt for the adrenaline rushing through my body.

SHIROU'S P.O.V:
I could feel the pain just by looking in Mihiro's eyes he was struggling to stay awake,i couldn't bare the sight of him hurt if i hadn't froze earlier none of this would have happened.if i dont do something he will die i will never be able to see his smile and stupidity anymore it doesn't matter if he thinks of me diffrently.
I need to save him I MUST SAVE HIM. at that moment i could feel the energy of my 2 thousand fallen comrades flowing in my body he was right this scar that i lived with was never a burden it was only there to remind me of how much i went through and how strong i lived on to be. "I AM THE SILVER WOLF!!"

Mihiro's POV:
the crow was getting closer i tried pushing my body away with what energy my feet had left.
was this really the end? i couldn't fathom the thought of Dying there was so much i haven't done and told. then a cold feeling crawled through my body as i saw the silver and blue light flicker behind the rampaging beast it was Shirou who let out this type of aura but all i could see was a big and shiny wolf it was indeed the silver wolf , within a blink of my eyes the bird beast man was knocked out and pulled away from me.struggling to keep my consciousness the blue light approached me as i hear "you're going to be okay" before my eyes finally let go...

 Morning of the Next Day

I open my eyes to notice i was back in the co-op or at least that's what i presumed seeing as i was laying on Michiru's bed in her rooftop room i move my arm to pull off the blanket that was covering me only to notice a cast around my arm lucky for me it was only dislocated."at least I'm now sure it wasn't a dream."
surprisingly my cast was signed by almost everyone i knew :    Shirou,Michiru,Jackie,Melissa,Jem,Lyla even the Mayor...etc It was another friendly reminder that a lot of people do care about me.i couldn't help but smile :_ )

I got out of Michiru's room and into the rooftop. she was playing basket ball as usual.She notices me "Oh Hey Mihiro you're awake how are you feeling?" "Alive for a start but i'm good"

"Hello Mr.Mihiro" i follow the voice to spot the mayor casually having some tea "Mayor Rose?!That's a surprise" "Indeed it is have a seat there is a lot we need to talk about."
"I believe you now know of the silver wolf's identity correct" "i'm half sure it's Shirou"
"Then you deserve to hear the full story of how the silver wolf came to be"

-You all know the story

"I see,Shirou really is the silver wolf"i mutter. "I hope it doesn't change how you see him" 
"Oh not at all for me he is still the same "I'm done with the world's shenanigans" guy but he can be really Stupid thinking he can do things on his own which i love I-i mean it's stupid and i hate it!" She then bursts out laughing. i couldn't help but tag along.

"So how do i look" i turn around to Shirou's voice noticing he was wearing the collar i got him it was much bigger and had a softer texture so that it didn't bother him or sting his scar.

"You mean all of you,or just your neck? I-i mean because Both look great!" i turned into a blushing mess.
"Your friend told me You got this for me is that true?" he questioned getting closer. "Well yeah you couldn't stop itching it this morning so i thought you could use a new one."i then laughed nervously.
 
"It definitely feels better then the other one.i like it." he then crouches down and puts his hands each on my two shoulders.he exhales." Thank you Mihiro your words yesterday really helped me more then you'll ever know and thank you for saving Michiru i know she can be a pain"he thanked. "I HEARD THAT" She yells out after scoring.
"Yeah right, don't give me all the credit i was barely able to walk after that blow, you saved me"
"The silver wolf did." he tried playing dumb. "Pfft same thing." he lip tilted at the statement.
"Mushy Stuff aside! Questions time!"

"If you have mixed blood of 2 thousand beastmen then do you have all blood types or do you keep your original one??"
" OH AND,Do you ever forget how to walk on 4 feet or does it come naturally?"
" I NEED ANSWERS!"

"Here we go again *Facepalm*"
