"I hate general agon, he thinks using the taphoi that contains gods of eld to make ether in order to revive typhon just to get revenge on the Olympians. Does he really care that all the ether is important to us and the enviroment?" Grumbled arguspedes, saria sighs as she held thanatos' hand and said "What else can we do? We can't fight him because that will be treason unless the king said so, and on top of that he's immortal". Thanatos looks around and spotted three guards approaching, he tried to tug on saria' dress to get her attention "What is it, thanatos?" She said but she too noticed three guards approaching.

"Thought you can trick us, captain? Except the fact that you never had a child!" Said the first guard.

"By orders of general agon, hand us the black haired child so no one has to get hurt" said the second guard.

Arguspedes was flustered "Ok, you got us but we only found thanatos flying through the air before crashing" he said, thanatos sprouted his black wings just show the guards. "That's the black winged kid the general wants us to capture!" Said  the third guard with a grin "we already know that you dolt! Now, captain, hand us the divine brat and you'll be on your way" replied the first guard. Arguspedes looks at thanatos before looking at saria, then he said "No, I refuse to hand over him. He does not belong in the taphus, he is free!" This made the guards angry "you stubborn traitor! What would the king say about you not handing over this brat?" Said the first guard. Arguspedes laughed and said "traitor? You're the traitors here! Both of you serve general agon instead of the king, and yet he doesn't receive orders from the king!" The guards had enough so the first guard signaled the other two to forcefully take thanatos. "Saria! Take thanatos far away from here!" Yelled arguspedes "but what about you?" Asked saria as she watched as he got ready to fight "I'll hold them off! With luck, we might get to see each other... now go!" He replied, saria ran with thanatos as she fights back the tears.

As soon as she and thanatos got out of the town, she watched as Lenz caught fire but she couldn't help but cry at the fact that she didn't help arguspedes by using either her queis spells or even the sleep spell called rem. "... all my fault.... all... my fault..." she sobbed but she knew that if she were to linger long, she too will get captured along with thanatos so she continued running with him until they entered a forest. She sat down on a rock in order to catch her breath but crying at the same time, thanatos walk towards her and comforts her and yet he doesn't know how to comfort her. "If I were to use my spells, none of this would happen...! Except I didn't even see it coming!" Said saria as she wiped tears from her eyes, thanatos sighed as he sat next to her. Suddenly, the earth trembled and the duo held on to the rocks as the earth departs into a large crevice thus revealing stairs. "Huh? Were stairs always there before?" She questioned as she got up, thanatos followed her and saw the crevice has stairs that lead downwards, but it felt familiar to him somehow. Saria heard voices throughout the forest saying:

"Where are they!?"

"Where is the god of death and the traitorous enchantress!?"

"Find them! They must by anywhere in this grove!"

This surprised her "oh no, soldiers...!" She said in a hushed voice, she walked into the stairs while thanatos followed her. The earth closed behind them as they continued walking down "well, guess we're not coming back" saria sighed, the staircase was so dark that neither saria nor thanatos can see until they see torches illuminating the endless dark. As they continued downward, they reached a big cavern with an underground river but the air felt chilling yet stagnant. "Are we in the underworld Or are we in a tunnel?" Asked saria but thanatos shrugged, the duo walked further they see ghostly shades of people that died standing in lines. This spooks saria as she sees nothing but apparitions of those who died, even the apparitions themselves are muttering about her

"She's still alive?" Asked the apparition of a soldier with a decapitated head.

"Yes she is, it's all because lord hades took pity to her" responded the apparition of a woman that was stabbed in the heart.

Saria sighed because it was true, suddenly, something caught her eye: it was a glowing plant that looks as though it was made of gold. "Excuse me lady, but what your seeing is the golden bough. Charon will let you go where ever you like to go as long as you hold onto the golden bough" explained the shade of an old man.
