Nick and i were cuddling when all of a sudden we hear yelling

"JUST LET THEM BE HAPPY DUDE"
"WHY AHOULD SHE BE HAPPY WHEN IM MISERABLE?"
"DUDE THATS MY SISTER"
"AND I THOUGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FRIENDS BRO"

i look at nick and shake my head and run downstairs

me: what's going on
chase: ryland doesn't think you should be happy
ryland: I JEVER SAID SHE SHOULDNT BE HAPPY ITS JUST
alex: he doesn't want you to unless it's with him
me: what

ryland comes up to me

ryland: what does he have that i don't mel? i fucking love you

nick: she changed me ryland

i turn around and smile at nick

chase: if you really love her you'll let her be happy

ryland looks at nick

ryland storms upstairs and we all hear a door slam

me: why was he yelling in the first place?
Alex: did u not see what he commented on ur ig post?
me: no i don't look at the comments a lot

i look at nick and he holds his hand out. i go and grab his hand and we walk to his room.

me: i kinda feel bad
nick: why
me: because yeah he had feelings for me and we should have said something to him about us
nick: why should it matter if ryland approves of us
me: it doesn't but he was one of ur best friends and now because of me that's ruined.

me: i did and i feel like i need to talk to him

i kiss nick on the cheek and leave the room and go down the hall to rylands room and knock.

ryland: go away
me: can we talk ry
ryland: come in

i walk in and i see rylands eyes are puffy and he's upset

ryland: what do u want amelia
me: to talk
ryland: about what

i walk over and sit next to him

me: look ryland i never meant to ruin you and nicks friendship.
ryland : well you did you ruined our friendship and you ruined my life...

I look down and i feel tears in my eyes

ryland: ya know what amelia i love you so damn much it hurts and you being with my best friend does not help this at all.
me: ry im sorry we didn't talk to you before we got together and im sorry i didn't talk to you
