Chloe and Lucifer looked at each other. Lucifer started "Detective." He stoped with a sigh. "Chloe... I am the Devil." Chloe looked back up at him as she reached up and placed her hand on his cheek. "No you're not. Not to me."  "Once you see that I'm telling you the truth... You're going to hate me." She leaned up and kissed him but he pulled away. "Chloe... I can't. We can't not until you believe me." Lucifer turned around and looked at the city bellow them and Chloe looked at him in shock "What?" he could feel that his devil face was back but didn't want her to see his full face. He shifted back leaving just his eyes as he turned back around to face her. She took a slight step back. "W-wha-How?" complete and utter terror in her eyes as his full face shifted. She took another slightly larger step back. Lucifer looked away as he shifted back. "I told you... I told you that you'd hate me." Chloe kept stumbling back "P-please, please s-stay away." Lucifer turned so he was looking back over the city  unfurled his wings and flew off back to his penthouse. Leaving Chloe alone and terrified.

Lucifer landed on his balcony as tears threatened to fall. He didn't know what to do just then the elevator rang and Linda walked in and looked at him. "Lucifer? are you ok?"  he looked at her as the tears started falling. "I-I don't know." she walked over to him leading him to the couch and she sat down next to him. "Lucifer what happened?" he didn't know what to say. "I-I. She," Linda looked at him eyes wide. "You showed her?" Lucifer didn't say anything he just nodded. "So your devil face is back then...?" Lucifer just nodded again. "And?" she said trying to get more than a nod. "Sh-she she just backed away a-and looked at me like, like the monster I am and... told me to." He stopped not able to say it. "Told you to what?" he placed his head in his hands "She told me to stay away." Linda hated seeing him in pain like this. I mean she was his therapist but she had never seen him this hurt. "Do you want me to talk to her?" Lucifer didn't move he just said "I- I don't know." just then his phone rang. he picked it up to see 'Amenediel' displayed on the screen the slight glimmer of hope in his eyes had vanished.

Lucifer picked up the phone. "What is it brother?" he said trying to sound like he hadn't been crying "Lucy, it's Charlotte someone tried to shoot me and she jumped in front of me." Lucifer had the phone on speaker. Lindas eyes widened  "What why did you call me why didn't y call 911?" Amenediel was on the phone trying not to start crying himself. He was Gods greatest warrior after all. or was... "I did Lucy. They are on their way are you with Chloe?" Lucifer felt like a knife was stabbed into his chest when he heard her name. "Uh n-no Chloe and I are uh not- not working together anymore." he choked back tears. Amenadiel realized what his brother meant "Lucifer I'm so sorry." "Me too." he said hanging up. He wanted to go see Charlotte one last time but he knew Chloe would be there so he stayed away. 

Linda left the pent house leaving Lucifer to remember all the fun times he had with Chloe.

that day turned into a week. That week turned into a month. And that month into six. yep it had been six months since Chloe had seen the truth. Lucifer considered going back to hell but he couldn't stand leaving. Although everyday his hope that Chloe would come see him faded more and more.He had turned cold not showing any emotion. The only people who had talked to him were Linda and Amenadiel. Lucifer sat at his piano and started to play demons by imagine dragons. This was different for him but if just... felt right.

Just then Chloe walked off the elevator. But she stoped when she realized what he was playing.

They both started tearing up and tears started falling down his cheek.

At this point they were both on the verge of breaking down.

"Lucifer?" He immediately shot around. "Chloe? No no no you aren't here I- I'm dreaming." She finally realized how much she had hurt him. "Lucifer I am here." He looked away "N-No you can't be." She looked shocked and heart broken. "Why?" he walked towards his room. "Because you hate me don't you...?" She drew in a shuddery breath when he turned around his eyes red. "see you're scared of me." he disappeared around the corner. "Lucifer wait! I don't hate you! I love you. And I'm not scared of you... I'm just not used to seeing you with your eyes red!" she ran into his room and ran up to him and grabbed his arm. "Lucifer please..."  He turned around "You really aren't scared?" she looked into his eyes. "O-ok maybe a little, but I still love you... please." he turned around and looked down at her. She didn't know what happened but next thing she knew their lips were together in a heated kiss.
