The sun had risen in the Vrithian palace where the princess was excited she spent the night in her chambers as this weekend she wanted to spend partying with lily and bonding with her uncle, Valarie was in no talking term with her, as she slightly opened the door peeking through a small crack she saw Valarie leaning against the wall her face was pale and she didn't have the energy to speak not even an insult it alarmed both lily and Rose who couldn't bear to see her like that. She quickly slammed the door shut and turned running to lily who as well slept over. She was in the bathroom in her silk robe still deciding on what to wear.

"LILY!"

"Augh! Rose! Don't nag! I'm still deciding!"

"No..Not that!... And we're just going for breakfast...At the dining hall...and you look pretty in anything!"

"Aww! How sweet! But you're no help! I'll ask Valarie! VAL! VAL!"

"NO! Shush! It's about her! She looks pale and she isn't speaking to me! Even when she looks at me she just looks through me! Like as if I was an invisible GHOST!"

"Rose! She's...She received some bad news..."

"I WAS TRYING TO PROTECT HER! P-..."

"What?"

"Huh...What...N-nothing..."

"ROSE!"

"Ok! Ok! I..her and p...It's nothing"

"P? OH! You know! About her AND! P...Peter!"

"YES! W-wait! How do you know!"

"Me?! Oh! Killian told me!"

"Killian knows! Oh no! This is really BAD! It's over between them!"

"Is it! Thank god!"

As the two girls were whispering they saw a gloomy shadow coming from near the door and they both turned to see Valarie looking like a zombie with dark circles under her eyes, she mumbled half-heartedly "I can hear you! You know! I'm not deaf!" Both girls were startled and they looked at each other and then back at her, Rose remained quite looking at the floor but lily rushed to comment on her looks "WOW! You look like shit! Come here! Let me try to salvage what I can!" Lily rushed to grab her and sat her on the chair in front of the mirror the girl's eyes where half shut and blood shut as she didn't even have a second of sleep for few days. Lily released Valarie's locks that were tied in a bun as it fell on her shoulders she started to brush them, and she spoke in a worried tone "Is it because of your mom?" Rose gasped "You know that grandma is your mother!" The brush fell from Lily's hand and she turned to face Rose "LADY MARY!..." Lily looked at Valarie's reflection seeing how much she resembled lady Mary and the girl gasped "HOLY! FUCK! Oh! YOU LOOK LIKE HER! EW! Edward fucked Rose's grandma!"

Quite Valarie snapped "Edward fucked EVERYONE! That's why I may have a Ravinton mother" Rose eyes widen and she shook her head "RAVINTON! You're grandma's, lost baby!" Valarie rolled her eyes looked away "I'm not talking TO YOU!" Lily bent to take the brush that she clenched on and started to roughly brush Valarie's hair. Rose held back her tears as she muttered "S-Sorry!" Lily took a deep breath "So! Cheer up! Chances are your mother are not a Ravinton! Come on! Don't be like that!" Valarie looked down at her lap with the sad expression as Lily tried to cheer her up "I'm not upset because of that...Bedside Edward ran away when I tried to confront him! He said he had a business trip out of the blue! It doesn't matter who mom was...Nothing matters!..." Rose's heart tightened as she knew it's something to do with sir peter she fought her tears "Is it because of what I said to sir peter?" Valarie shook her hand but then glared at Rose yelling "I am not talking to YOU!" But then her eyes widen "W-WAIT! What you said TO HIM! What did you SAY!" Rose then burst out crying "I TOLD HIM NOT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU!" Lily held her breath and she sighed in relief "Oh! Rose! Thank god! You did the right thing! Don't cry! That freak better say away from her!"
