Kohaku pov
"Ahhh!" I shouted as it echoed through the kingdom.

"Be quite princess kohaku that is not lady like at all" the maid told me tightening my corset.

"But it hurts!" I whine to the maid as she sighed.

"Why can't you be more like princess ruri?" The maid sighed again in defeat "I need more maids to help me here!" The maid shouted as two more maids came in and got me into the dress along with jewelry.

"You look beautiful princess kohaku!" The three maids squealed in joy looking at me.

"I hate dresses they are so uncomfortable" I whined to the maid s making all of them sigh.

"I understand that princess kohaku but you have to meet the king so you have wear this and at least try and smile" one of the maids said to me desperately.

"Ok I will try but he's my father why do I have to dress like this" I said looking at her.

"Yes he is but you still have to dress proper princess kohaku" one of the maids told me.

"You better hurry though the king is waiting" the other maid said as I nodded and walked out of my room towards the throne room when I got there ruri was already there and my father was sitting on his thrown.

"You are late kohaku" my father said in a serious looking at me.

"Sorry father I had to squeeze into this uncomfortable dress" I said looking at him.

"Why can't you be more like ruri?" My dad asked me sighing.

"Because I am not ruri I don't like this dress" I mumbled to myself.

"Ok kohaku it is time for you to get a married so I decided to throw a royal ball two weeks from now were you will choose which of the men there will be your husband you have to choose one" my father said in a stern voice looking at me.

"But why!?" I shouted at him.

"Because you are of age to be married" my father said calmly.

"But I am not interested in a guy who looks handsome or has money!" I shouted at him again.

"You will be going and that's final!" My father said losing her cool and shouting at me.

"Why can't you ever understand how I feel I don't want to be like perfect like ruri I want to be me I don't want a guy who likes how I look on the outside but how I am on the inside" I said water forming in my eyes but my father didn't care.

"You are still going and you cannot change my mind!" My father shouted at me.

"I hate you father!" I shouted at him tears coming down my face as I ran to my room and locked my door were I cried all day I didn't eat or drink anything I just wanted to escape.

When night came I got out of bed and went to my closet were I looked for a short dress I had cut to wear for when I sneaked out of the castle "there it is" I mumble to myself as I picked up a blue short dress and I wore matching blue sandals with it I would put my hair in a high one and sneak through the window but I didn't feel like going through the window so I decided to sneak through the door.

As I walked through the castle my steps echoing against the walls then I came across a door that was open and light shining through as a shadow of a boy who was reading a book I froze I didn't want to get caught and the person report to my father we had just got into a fight but for some reason I wanted to know who this boy was.

But I looked away as I slowly turned my body I was going to walk away until I slipped and fell with a loud thump which startled the boy as I saw his figure getting closer to the door I started to get up and as I was going to walk away I heard him speak.

""Why are you up at this time of night?" The boy said as I slowly turned my head and looked at him, he had white hair with green at the ends it was unusually styled and his eyes were red like a rubies, he wasn't really tall maybe a little taller than me, as he looked at me plainly I stared back with the same expression.

"None of your business" I bit back as I went my separate way when suddenly I fell to the floor holding my stomach in pain causing the boy to laugh.

"You haven't eaten anything have you? I have some food if you would like some" the boy said smirk still plastered on his face as I turned and looked at him my face red from embarrassment.

"No I am fine" I said holding my stomach as I tried to get up.

"If you say so" the boy shrugged as he walked back into the door he had came out of and I slowly manage to get up as I walked to the kitchen and got something to eat then I sneaked through the door and left the castle.

I walked to a little hill that had a big Yoshino cherry tree in the middle as I walked up and looked at the tree it was almost blooming season so the flowers would bloom in a couple of days as I sat on the ground and leaned on the tree I looked up at the moon, wind rushed through the trees and grass, I couldn't stop thinking about the guy I had met.

"His eyes are mesmerizing" I whispered to myself as I tilted my head down looking at the grass "I want to know more about him maybe we could become friends" I thought to myself as I sat up and started to train until sunrise then I went back home.
