I've waited for this moment,
A moment I didn't think was going to be so bittersweet,
So painful,
Hard to know that you officially moved on,
My heart aches but not out of sadness,
But jealousy,
That you have someone to love,
To hold,
And cherish like you once did with me,
While I'm still grasping into thin air.
I was used to being someone you loved,
A distance memory that we both held on too,
But now the memories are gone,
Replaced by new ones,
I'm glad your happy,
I'm happy you've moved on,
I hope you treat her better,
You keep your promises,
And don't break her heart like you did mine,
The last of you left in my heart is finally letting go,
Finally falling out of love with the idea of you.
