Minji's pov.
I could hear the yells from down the corridor. I tried not to listen, but curiosity got to the better of me. Plus, it was kind of hard to ignore Namjoon's booming voice as it echoed through the portion of the building I was in.
"Do you want her to find out?!"
My ears pricked at the phrase, but they lowered their voices after that for a moment. I wondered what they were talking about.
"What did you tell her?!"
"What happened to keeping our emotions at bay?"
"I said get out, Jimin!"I didn't have time to move out of the way as Jimin came speeding around the corner. He paused for a minute when he saw me before continuing down the hall. I went after him, oblivious to the fact that he may not have wanted my company at that time. "Jimin," I called after him. He turned back to me. "Yeah, Minji?" He replied. He looked mentally drained. I guess we could relate on that level. "Talk to me? What happened?" I asked him worriedly. He sighed. "I can't Minji, important business," He replied. I rolled my eyes. "Oh yes, the shouting seemed like very calm and collected business talk, Jimin," I replied. I moved towards him a little. He didn't move out of the way, so I took another step towards him. "I don't want to cause trouble to you for this. I know I'm a moody bitch sometimes, and I know what you've done - what you're doing to me - is bad.. but that's not your choice. Please, Jimin. I really do think you're an okay person. But you need to talk to me, alright?" He smiled at me before his eyes moved to something behind me. I turned around to see Yoongi. He looked upset and irate, and he just stared Jimin down like a duel was about to commence.
"Please stop," I whispered desperately. Their eyes turned from each other towards me then. "Look, you have a big fight coming up. There's no point in arguing when you could lose your lives, never mind over me. Least over me. So please, just stop." Yoongi smiled apologetically at me, and I returned the smile. I turned to Jimin. He was still staring at Yoongi, but with somewhat less hatred. He nodded in Yoongi's direction before turning around and venturing off to goodness knew where. Yoongi turned to the room closest to us, turning the doorknob and opening the door to what I assumed was his room. It was the first time I had seen it. The black and red silk sheets and the dark decor confirmed that it was, in fact, his room. He turned back to me before entering, sighing softly before shaking his head slightly.
"Why are you doing this?"
I furrowed my eyebrows at his question.
"What do you mean?"
The corners of his mouth lifted slightly. He wasn't angry anymore, at least not that I could tell. In fact, his facial expression resembled something almost kitten-like. I smiled again in response to his.
"You. You're just.. trying to resolve fights, you're helping us... you aren't acting like you probably should be. I mean, you're here against your will, we-"
"Maybe I've just learnt a valuable lesson in the time I've spent here," I interrupted.
"And what would that be?" He asked.
"That in the end, there is no happy ending, so I'm trying to make the most out of the time I have."
