RWBY Reacts To Metallica

Introduction

So I started to write a fic like this a while ago but the farther I began to get I just started to hate how it was going so I took it down and am now completely rewriting it

Ruby awoke with a jolt. She quickly realized she was not still in her perfectly safe bunk bed that she had gone to sleep in the night before. She glanced around the new unfamiliar environment when she the sounds of people stirring around her

Looking over she saw the rest of Team RWBY begin to awaken. It was then that she noticed that they all appeared to be in some form of theater seating. She was about to speak up when she heard movement from a distance away.

Right when she was about to call to whoever was there the lights burst on to reveal that yes in fact they were in a theater. The noise she had heard was none other than Team JNPR literally landing in their own set of seats. Ruby leaped out of her seat and ran over to them. Unlike RWBY, Team JNPR were all completely awake.

Ruby: "Jaune? Pyrrha? What's going on?"

Jaune: "I don't know. One second Nora was yelling about a midnight snack and the next a bright light appears in the middle of the dorm and boom here we are."

Ruby: "Where exactly is here?" To that Jaune just shrugged.

Jaune began to open his mouth to say something else when a multiple lights appeared and began dropping people into more seats. From where Ruby was standing she could see Teams CFVY and CRDL as well as Professor Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch. Somehow each member of the legendary team STRQ were there as well. What shocked Ruby the most though was to see Torchwick and Neo along with Junior, The Malachite Twins, Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald. Ironwood and Winter then fell in next to the professors. Ghira and Kali also showed up.

One last light shone but quickly became en veloped in shadow. From this light burst none other than the Queen of Grimm herself. Salem.

Everyone in already present looks in awe at the new arrivals but none more so than Ruby who stood there with tears n her eyes as she saw Summer appear.

How was she here? How was she alive? These thoughts ran through Ruby's mind throwing up several red flags. Without hesitation she ignored them and ran towards Summer. Hearing the footsteps Summer turned and her eyes widened. Here running towards her was the same baby girl that she had given birth to 15 years ago now looking almost like a carbon copy of herself. Opening her arms just in time as Ruby crashed into her.

Ruby buried her head into Summer's chest and cried. She had so many questions but as of now she just wanted to let all the pent up emotions from over the years flow out of her.

Nearly everyone in the theater watched this with tears of joy in their eyes. A few however scoffed at this display of emotion. (Take a wild guess who) Everyone slowly started to sit down to watch this exchange while Summer and Ruby still stood. Summer squeezed even tighter for a moment. Before motioning for Ruby to release her and take a seat so she could speak to her.

As they had begun to sit the rest of Team RWBY came over to be with their leader. The moment the last person sat the lights randomly dimmed down and the screen flared to life. Text began to appear.

Welcome all. You have been gathered her today to bear witness to another world which lies in peril.

This caused a lot of raised eyebrows in the crowd. Another world? What was even going on? What does this have to do with us.

I know that most of you will be confused and asking what does this have to do with us. I shall tell you. If you do not resolve this conflict in which you partake This world you will see will be destroyed.

This caused every single eyebrow in the audience to shoot up.

' My entire war with Salem has caused enough death and destruction here on Remnant but another world as well? That is something I cannot allow to happen' Ozpin thought to himself.

Already the effects of your little war can be seen here. Riots and Fires. Pandemics and Wars. Tensions are high and everyone is on edge.

Ruby could hardly believe what she was hearing. All of that caused by them? How?

However there is still good in all of this. With everything that has happened people have kept fighting and music has been the main way that people keep hope. Whether it be through Wars, Terrorist Attacks or Global Pandemics. One band has endured all of it. This band however is directly linked to all of you.

Again this caused confusion. How were they linked to us?

They are the alternate versions of some of the people among you now. They have endured for 39 years and sill go strong to this day. No matter the age people all over the world gather to hear them perform. Whether it be the classics of the 1980s or their modern stuff from the 2010s no one has endured more hardship and pain than these men and women.

This impressed multiple people through the crowd. For 39 years they had kept going against all odds. A remarkable feat. Any moment their whole careers could have come crashing down around them. Yet they were still there. Many began to wonder who among them made up this legendary sounding band.

The words on the screen faded instead and slow music began to play.

[Cue the Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone]

Many in the audience, The Schnee's especially, began to sway with the beautiful song.

A stage is shown as 4 figures walk towards it. A shot of 4 sets of boots appear but the one on the end keeps glitching. A frontal view appears and begins to pan from left to right. Blake is seen walking next to Jaune who has a badass goatee.

A massive shockwave seems to blow through the crowd as everyone turns to look at the two Beacon students. Jaune seemed to try and hide in his hoodie while Blake just pressed her ears down and tried to shy away from al the attention. however before they can question either of them a gasp goes up from Nora. All turn to look at her but she simply points back at the screen.

There we can see Nora walking side by side with Ruby who has her hair long and keeps glitching for some reason. At random points she turns into Ren and sometimes Pyrrha.

Again people turn to look at there respective teammates and family members. Most of them had the same thought in mind. 'If they are the ones featured in the band what are we doing here?' Little did they know that the majority of them would have some role to play in the future.

Yang: "Rubes? Is there something you want to tell us?"

Ruby waved her hands around

Ruby: "No No No I'm just as confused as you are."

Blake: "Well we have to remember that these are supposedly 'Alternate versions' of ourselves so it would make sense that we would be into different things that our normal selves here would be."

Everyone seemed to accept that as an answer and turned back to the screen.

The scene was quickly cut off by a hammer crashing down on top of them as the camera swoops behind it to show an electric chair getting zapped by lightning. The camera then flies under the legs and over a sort of hill where a graveyard can be seeen and two large hands reach out of the clouds. A quick turn and everyone can see a statue being pulled down as a snake slithers out form behind and strikes at the screen.

This causes a few of the audience members to jump while a couple just admire how badass this whole scene seems even if its a bit confusing.

The snake then gets swept away in a red liquid that then turns orange. The camera flies out of the liquid and towards a garage door that opens. A huger fist rapped in badagages bursts out of the ground and opens a coffin that was laying behind it. From the coffin rises a seared multiheaded beast that looks like multiple faces mashed together.

This whole sequence disturbs many audience members especially the younger ones.

A ticking sound can be heard for a second and then the beast explodes turning the screen black except for one word.
