Welcome to the first chapter of our shared story! This story is formatted from a roleplay that this-was-weird and I have been engaged in since January. Go check him out!! He's an AWESOME person and deserves lots of love!❤️❤️ This is a shared project that currently remains on going, so make sure to go give him your love!❤️❤️❤️ (Oh and he also made this beautiful cover for the story!)

Alright, so the setting of this story is sixth year. We set up the entire bathroom scene differently then the canon scene, but Sectumsempra still happened a few weeks before. It will all make sense in the next few chapters, I promise- Soooo without further adue, let's begin! Hope you like it!

Draco Malfoy stood, frozen in the abandoned girl's bathroom, as he had been for what felt like hours. He leaned over the sink in front of him, seeing nothing as the tears spilled down his face with no signs of slowing. Myrtle floated beside him, chattering worriedly as she circled him, but she proved to be no help.

"Tell me... Tell me what's wrong..." she tried again, for what was probably the millionth time that hour, but he just shook his head at her in answer, as he'd done every time she'd offered her help.

"I-I can't.... I can't do it...." He whispered, his voice raw as his body shook with each sob that escaped his aching throat. Draco gripped the edge of the basin, sobbing uncontrollably. Everything he'd been assigned to complete, everything that was required of him, it was all getting to him, drowning him in fear, stress, hate... Everything.

"You can tell me what's going on.... I can help you..." Myrtle began, ready to attempt to comfort the boy once again, but Draco shook his head once more, cutting her off before she could finish.

"N-No one can help me," he whispered through his tears. He furiously wiped his eyes, trying to stop the tears that continued to streak down his cheeks. Myrtle watched Draco worriedly, continuously begging for him to tell her what had caused his distress. But Draco continued to refuse. "I can't do this... I can't.... I have to do it soon, but...."

Harry yawned, for the hundredth time that day, as he slowly moved down the corridor of the second floor. He was both physically and mentally exhausted, and didn't feel like he could deal with anyone right now, not today. Or any day, if he was being honest, but that was beside the point. He figured that the best place to be alone would be the place where no one ever went. Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. He'd been there plenty of times before, and had learned to tolerate the lonely ghost who lived inside, despite her perverted tendencies.

As he drew near to the lavantry, his ears caught a series of familiar noises amidst the deafening silence of the corridor. Like someone was mumbling, babbling even. It didn't sound like the normal droning of the female ghost who dwelled inside. He drew closer, stopping just before the door as he listened, trying to identify the source. It only took a few seconds for Harry to easily recognize the sound of crying, and he was even more shocked when he also recognized the voice it belonged to. Draco Malfoy? Harry peaked in, confused, and he quickly spotted Draco leaning over the sink, sobbing so hard that Harry wondered vaguely if he would fall apart at the seams. He watched Myrtle flutter around him. He stood there for a long time, staring, unsure what he was to do. Should he... Leave? Go inside..?
Draco gasped and gulped and then, with a great shudder, he looked up into the mirror in front of him. He glared at his own tear-stained face, at the weakness he was showing by just being here, even if he was alone, not counting the young ghost girl. His eyes caught movement to his left from behind him as he gazed at his reflection, and he easily pinpointed none other than Harry Potter staring at him over his shoulder. He spun around on his heels in a heartbeat, drawing his wand and aiming at the raven haired boy.
