Chapter nine: Mikado's decision

Mikado stared at his wife's sleeping figure, she had been so stressed lately, she refused to sleep and barely had a moment to herself, in the end, he, James, Merlin, and Oriana had to tie her to her bed to get her to finally rest. And it worked...

"Kado..." Lisa stirred walking up, she still looked like a mess. Her blonde hair was messy and her royal blue eyes showed pure exhaustion.

"Liz, you are not getting up today... I will handle your work." Mikado stated firmly, his blue eyes shown strictly.

"But Kado... I'm fine!" Lisa argued crossing her arms as if she was sulking.

"No! You are seven months pregnant!" Mikado replied his red eyes shining with firmness and his nine fluffy tails blocked the door as to stop Lisa from exiting the room. His fluffy long white ears were standing up alert.

"Oh come on, Kado, I'll be fine!"

"No! You are resting!" She shook his head and turned around crossing his arms like a child.

"Ugh, Kado! Not even humans take this much precaution when expecting! Come on!" Lisa whined.

"Yeah but none of them almost have a miscarriage, I still cannot believe my sister started a fistfight with you..." Mikado sighed still annoyed with his family, so annoyed in fact that he left them to live with Lisa. Long story sort Mei punched Lisa in the stomach when they got into a fight and Lisa almost miscarried the baby.

"In her defence, she did not know that I was pregnant, Kado, at least talk to her... Like an adult..." Lisa sighed.

"No, she almost murdered my unborn baby, I will not speak to her!" Mikado snarled tears streaming down his eyes:

"We almost lost her, Lisa... And I won't take that chance again!"

"Mikado..." Lisa looked at the snowy fox with tenderness before sighing and putting her hand on Mikado's and gently placing his hand on her belly before beaming at him warmly:

"We won't lose Himemi, don't worry..." Lisa sighed stroking the white bunny-fox on the head. "I am her mother after all, and I am tough, she will make it..."

"Liz, listen I have made a decision..." Mikado sighed:

"As it currently is I don't think I can speak to my family without causing a fight, so from now on I shall be situated here in Alls with you and the rest of the team... Is that okay?" Mikado asked his wife who just nodded her head with happiness to have her husband live with her:

"Of course! I am happy to have you! But don't cut off contact with them completely I feel bad for your mother and father!"

"I won't I will write them letters every year..." Mikado replied cuddling Lisa with all of his nine tails, Lisa giggled and embraced her fluffy husband:

"We survived wars, Kado, we will survive this..."
