A week ago, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a series of pictures from the sets of KBC 12, after he resumed work on this season, post recovering from Covid-19. In one of the pics, Big B was seen sitting before the computer screen or 'computer ji', in another he was clapping, while a third one gave the audience a glipse of the whole set as the camera was panned out. Amitabh Bachchan had tweeted, "20 saal, 12wa parva, KBC: Kaun Banega Crorepati, aarambh! (sic)"

Amitabh Bachchan had tested coronavirus positive in July and was admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati hospitals on July 11. His son, Abhishek Bachchan was also admitted with him after testing positive for Covid-19. The very next day, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his grand-daughter Aaradhya Bachchan had also tested positive. While initially they were advised home-quarantine, a week later, they were admitted to Nanavati as well. 10 days later, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were discharged from the hospital.

Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from the hospital on August 2 after he tested negative, while Abhishek was discharged on August 8.

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to return to your TV sets with a new edition of popular reality quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Season 12 will be going on air soon and Big B recently shared some grand set pics on his social media handle with one of the participating contestants.

Big B wrote a heartfelt message for KBC and its audience as he shared latest snaps from the time he shot for one of the episodes this season. A major change may be seen as there is no live audience during the shoot. This has been done to keep coronavirus spread in check as most shows are going audience free for sometime.

Earlier, Big B had given a glimpse of how filming was taking place amid the new normal as he was surrounded by a crew in PPE kits before the shot was called by the director.

"This year is of course very different and challenging for all of us is every aspect. But it has been a year of learning and exploring avenues that probably weren't thought of, paving the path for something meaningful, leading us to the insight that there is a spark somewhere in each one of us that keeps us going, notwithstanding the obstacles, however big or small. The idea of this campaign is to reignite the spark and inspire people to move ahead in life," Nitesh Tiwari, who directed the campaign for KBC 12, said.

Kaun Banega Crorepati started 20 years ago, and the forthcoming season 12 will air on Sony Entertainment Television.

make way for Amitabh Bachchan. Amazon announced Monday that the Bollywood star will lend his voice to the tech giant's assistant device Alexa starting next year. He will be the first Indian actor to voice the Amazon artificial intelligence gadget.

In a post for its India blog, Amazon said the new feature will be available for India users. The new Alexa voice will offer jokes, weather updates, motivational quotes, advice and more.

Bachchan, who will be the first Indian actor to voice the Amazon gadget, said in the blog post that the tech opportunity has allowed him to explore a new medium.

"Technology has always given me an opportunity to adapt to new forms. Be it in movies, TV shows, podcasts and now, I am excited to create this voice experience in partnership with Amazon and Alexa," Bachchan said. "With voice technology, we are building something to engage more effectively with my audience and well-wishers."

Additional Amazon devices, including the Echo and the Fire TV Stick will feature the Bachchan-inspired update. The new feature is part of the tech giant's efforts to broaden its reach in the international market.

The Indian superstar, 77, boasts an extensive film career with titles including Anand, Zanjeer, and Sholay. Bachchan joins a number of celebrities who have lent their voices to various tech devices. In 2019 Samuel L. Jackson lent his voice to Amazon's Alexa and in 2016 Waze announced users could enlist Morgan Freeman to guide them to their destination.
