Len's P.O.V

Kaito agreed to try what the therapist offered; I have now been off of my medication for an entire week. She wanted to see if I had any dreams or if my emotions changed from the lack of the drug. I feel weird...almost...happy to not have to take the pills. Happy.. a feeling I haven't truly felt in such a long time. I don't feel nearly as worn down, and my appetite has even kicked up a bit from what it was before. Earlier today, Kaito took me to lunch for the first time in years. I coudn't finish everything, but I ate a good amount; as much as my stomach could handle. I find myself talking more and even cracking a smile here and there...!

It was now 10:00 at night, and I had school tomorrow. I got changed into pyjamas, brushed my teeth, said good night to Kaito, then layed down in my bed. I hope the therapist was wrong about one thing..

I hope I dream tonight. I want to see her again. I want to.....

Third Person P.O.V

Len drifted off to sleep amidst his thoughts. His sleep was a rather deep one, only a few tosses and turns now and then. A smile spread across his face, his mind lost in a dream.

"You're here!" he called out as a familiar face appeared, returning the smile Len gave. The girl he loved so much spread her arms wide, welcoming him with a warm hug. Len had never held someone so tightly in his life before; even if it was just a dream. Her hair smelled faintly of sweet oranges, her skin was soft like silk. He eventually let go of her. He remained silent for a few moments, pondering something. He then came back to his senses, and pushed aside the fear in his mind that she would most likely disappear after he asked he the same question he asked her everytime.

"Will you... tell me your name?" Len asked slowly and cautiously. The girl shook her head as her eyebrows scrunched together. And although Len didn't get the response he wanted, the outcome of him asking was equally surprising. "You're still here?" he asked whilst tilting his head.

"I don't want to leave you, Len-kun~"

Kaito's P.O.V

I walked into my younger brother's bedroom to check on him as I usually did before I went to sleep myself. Surprisingly, I found him asleep; unlike other nights where he'd be lying awake or tangled up in the sheets from nightmares. Stepping closer, I saw... a smile? Was he smiling...? After staring for a minute or two, I pulled myself away from his room and headed to my own.

Third Person P.O.V

The next morning, Len woke up feeling rested and happy. The girl had stayed with him throughout the whole night, just talking to him and smiling.

After getting changed into a pair of dark jeans and a yellow t-shirt, Len grabbed a small bowl of scrambled eggs and white rice. He chuckled at the odd look Kaito gave him when he had finished all of his breakfast, then headed out the door to his bus stop.
