During the american civil war Jonathan Bouregard and his valet Francoui fought for only one thing, and it wasn't liberty, it was his inheritance : the plantation, the mansion, the gold and the family's jewels. Years later the inheritance became the reason of many family fights,crimes and unsolved disappearances. With time the fights stopped, but too late. All the people form the village hated the Bouregards. But all wanted their money. That's why they the inheritance was cursed, because of all the lives that have been lost for it.
The Bouregards hid their belongings at the begining of the 1900's so no other life would be lost becouse of it again.
