Forever and ever..

Natalie Grace

Today, the day that every student dreams of, Graduation. Natalie was asleep when she heard her phone rang, she opened her right eye grabbing the alarm that was on her commode table beside her bed, it read 6;35. She put it back and answered her phone closing her eyes again

"Hello?" she answered in a sleepy tone 
"Oh my god are you still sleeping come on, its graduation day wake up" Sophie said. Sophie was Natalie's best friend since grade 3
"Alright 5 more minutes" Natalie said then she hung up the phone without waiting her response.
She placed the phone on the bed it’s screen facing the bed sheets, she got up slowly wearing her slippers and walking towards the mirror running her fingers through her soft brown wavy hair, she looked at herself as she smiled softly and let out a small chuckle “I’m finally graduating” she said as her smile became bigger, She took a hair elastic putting her hair into a high pony tail as she took her towel and walked to her bathroom

Natalie wasn’t a girly girl but every girl has this moment when they want to be perfectly beautiful and that was Natalie’s day.
Natalie was a single, honest, serious girl who has never been on a date, never kissed a guy and of course never had a boyfriend. She was the type of girl that only thinks about her future plans. Natalie wanted to go to law school since she was 12 just like her dad.

An hour later, Natalie walked downstairs dressed into a pair of jeans and a white chemise femme.
She walked into the living room finding her dad sitting on the chair with a cup of tea watching the news, her mum was in the kitchen preparing breakfast, she was about to go and kiss her dad’s forehead but she was stopped by Ethan, he stood in front of her as he smiled “I can’t believe my baby sis is graduating today” he said teasingly
“I’m not your baby sister anymore Ethan, I’m 18” She said crossing her arms against her chest
“I know, I know” he said as he wrapped his arm around her neck pulling her closer in a swift move as he kissed her forehead “Congratulations Sweetie” he whispered letting her go as she wrapped her arm around his waist hugging her brother.
They both heard a shutter, they both looked at the sound as they smiled finding their father standing with a camera
“Look who’s awake” her father said smiling as Natalie walked towards him hugging him tightly “Hi dad” she said smiling
“You’ve grown so fast” he said hugging her back smiling as they both pulled apart
“Come on breakfast is ready you can both hug later” Natalie’s mum said smiling walking towards them as she hugged her daughter “Congrats sweetie” she said smiling as she walked towards the table

Natalie lived a happy life, she had an amazing caring dad, a sweet helpful mother and a kind protective brother.
They lived in not so big nor small house, they were always together and happy. Natalie was thankful for that.
“Dad, could you pass me the salt?” she asked her dad as he gave it to her
“so, Law school?” her mother asked as Natalie nodded
“Best of luck sweetie” she said smiling, her mum didn’t really want her daughter to enter the law school but eventually she agreed after all it was her daughter’s future.

Hours had passed, Natalie sat with her family laughing and talking until the clock ticked 9 ticks, Natalie’s phone rang, it read Sophie
“Hurry up I’m outside your house”
“Fine I’m coming” she said as she hung up the phone kissed all three of her family members, getting her car keys from the kitchen bar and getting outside the house closing the door behind her.

There, was Sophie sitting in her car “Hurry up, we’re already late” Sophie said opening the passenger door for her
“I’ll follow you, I have my own car remember” she said wiggling the car keys closing her car’s door
“Fine, see you there” Sophie said turning her car on as she drove away.
Natalie unlocked her car and entered it, she put the key into the ignition and turned the engine on and drove to the mall.
