"just remember when we told you we had a past like yuta, now you're seeing how all 10 of us used to be. have a great day because the next days are going to be a living hell." taeyong reminded her.
she looked at them with a terrified face and simply acted tough.
"okay. i'm going now." y/n said as she felt her heartbeat pick up. she needed to make sure that she looked tough. sadly, she forgot they were demons.
"y/n~~, i guess you forgot we are demons, we could sense fear." taeyong said as his tongue traced his fangs. y/n's eyes filled with fear as she saw all the boys with red eyes.
she was stuck in her spot, her legs not moving. they took a step closer to her, and she started getting pale. she tried moving, but her body was stuck to the ground.
she felt a hand snake around her waist and that's when her legs started moving. she punched them and immediately ran for her life.
she heard hissing in the back, but she didn't stop running. her eyes filled with tears, that her vision became blurry. she came in contact with someone's shoulder, and her breath hitched.
"you're okay now, don't worry." she heard someone say as they stroke her tiny back. she hugged the person tightly and she felt him stiffen.
"thanks lele." y/n told chenle as she felt protected now. renjun went in front and blinded the demons with a bright, white light. they took her to a little place that was not that far from where the demons were.
"h-hey, are you okay?" jisung said making sure she didn't get hurt. her mind went blank and she was expressionless. she remembered what had happened, and her hands started trembling.
"i'm fine." she plainly said. the angels looked at her knowing she wasn't okay. they were furious with the demons, and renjun went over to them.
he flew above them and threw each of them a glazed ball. the angels all went to help him and y/n was left surprised as she's never seen them this angry.
she was still traumatized as she was about to die because of her friends. she silently stayed in a corner when she felt a hand on her mouth and around her waist. she tried to scream, but nothing came out.
"y/n, you're okay. it's me, calm down. i'm sorry for becoming like that." she heard someone say. she relaxed and sat on his lap. she laid herself on his chest and he hesitantly wrapped his arms around her, keeping her safe.
she never knew he had this side of him, so she was a bit scared of him.
"y-yuta, i'm scared." y/n whispered making yuta look at her. "it's okay, you're okay." yuta whispered. his wings came into view, and y/n got scared. he wrapped his wings around y/n causing her to snuggle closer to him.
yuta brought her closer to him and he felt some kind of way. he ignored that and looked to see the angels and demons fighting. he was the cause of all this and he hated that. he felt y/n trembling, and he kept his arm around her waist.
she wasn't very used to seeing this side of yuta, so she just cooperated with him. she loved seeing this side of yuta. she knew somewhere in his cold heart there was a soft side.
yuta hasn't showed this side of him since his ex left him. he wanted to see what was going to happen when the demons and angels fought, but when he saw y/n, his body automatically started moving to her. he didn't know why he protected her, and why he's still with her right now.
after a while, yuta decided to leave that place and when he was going to fly, his eyes caught a glimpse of y/n.
he started hearing soft snores coming for her, and his eyes softened at the view. he looked away, and started flying away, with y/n still in his arms.
he looked at her sleeping state and smiled softly.
