A while had passed since your encounter with the DA.

Since then you had a preliminary hearing, where you thankfully didn't have any interaction with Mr.Hotchner. Although that wasn't to say you didn't feel butterflies in your stomach while watching him. You didn't understand the phenomenon, you hated him, but at the same time you wanted him to bend you over a desk and rail you with no regard for your well-being.

Today the two of you would be selecting juries.

You did some research on this DA. You already knew he was a good prosecutor. He won against your father on every case the two of them fought.

What you didn't know was that Aaron Hotchner left the DAs office for a job at the FBI, as a profiler. That meant he knew the ins and outs of people, which was unfortunate when it came to jury selections. He could probably just look at a person and determine whether they'd be useful or not for his case.

You had to be extra smart with selecting jury this time.

So you stayed up late last night compiling a list of jury traits that would help you win this case. You ironically used sociology and behavioral psychology book excerpts published by one of Hotchners old FBI co workers, David Rossi.

You roll out of bed and quickly get dressed, putting on a black Chanel tweed suit you adored. The way the skirt hugged your ass made you feel powerful, and you needed all that power today.

After a quick coat of makeup and a shot of expresso you were out the door.

Arriving at the courthouse you noticed your parking spot had been taken. Again.

You sigh as you parked a few spots down.

You watch Aaron Hotchner leave the car. He was wearing his usual suit with a red tie and god did it make you horny.

You wondered if he was settled into the district attorneys office yet, you'd been in that office once, it was an accident though. You were looking for the judges office and made a wrong turn.

You exit your car and take a deep breath before heading into the courthouse.

The courthouse was bustling with potential jury. You quickly made your way into the court room having to push through some people to get in. Hotchner was already seated and reading through some papers.

You didn't say a word as you brushed past his seat to your stand where you could set up and organize your notes.

"All rise"

The judge walked in and took a seat at her stand. She nodded at you and Hotchner, "you may be seated."

You sit down and let out a soft sigh. You've never felt this much anxiety with jury selections.

The judge clears her throat after shuffling through some papers, "lets begin."

The first potential juror to walk in was perfect for you.

She was a single young mom who may be able to sympathize with your client.

"Have you ever been married?" You ask.

"Yes. Once." She said twirling a strand of her hair.

"Have you ever been involved in any domestic disputes?" Hotchner asks straight faced.

She sighs, "once."

"Juror number 1 you may be dismissed." The judge says.

You huff as she leaves. She would've been perfect.

The next two potential Jurors to walk in were older men, both to which you were unable to find something wrong with, thus both were now integrated into the jury. That's two votes to charge your client with first degree murder.

Losing confidence, you straighten your posture and twiddle your thumbs.

The fourth juror to walk in was a 19 year old woman. She had two strips of hair dyed blue framing her face and she was dressed more casual than formal. You had a good feeling about her.

You smile at her, "Hello, are you a student at the moment?"

She shakes her head, "I'm taking a gap year."

Hotchner looks up, "Have you ever had any run ins with law enforcement."

"No."

You smile to yourself, you were going to get this one.

You ask her a few more questions and Hotchner continues to try and find something that would disqualify her from the Jury.

He couldn't find anything.

The judge lets the juror leave and adds her to the list of jury.

You continue to interview more jury. There were now six jury on the list. Three good for Hotchner, three good for you.

There's a total of 12 jurors, if you could get four more good ones this case would be in your hands.

"Let's recess for lunch."
