FIRST CHAPTER HERE WE GO :)

The sun was hitting my face in all the right spots as I could already tell the pink shade it was going to leave behind for days to come.

The crystal blue water was in the distance while the wind blew through my bleach blonde hair. I felt at peace on days like these, I didn't have to worry about anything really. My dad never seemed to care where I was headed or what I took part in on my spare time. Don't get me wrong he's an amazing father, he is just laid back I guess you could say.

I pull my thoughts away when I see a smirking face sat beside me. I'm unsure of what she is doing until I hear the muffled song playing through the car radio THAT SONG, HER SONG.

"Cam don't i'm being serious, don't!"
My voice is cut off when i hear the bloody murder scream come right from her lungs. "UP UP AND AWAY WE GOOOOOO!!!!!" I immediately plug my ears and shake my head. Seeing people on the packed boardwalks staring as the music and her screaming blaring through the car. I try distracting myself by chomping on the mint gum in my mouth.

I can hear her voice start to fade so I unplug my ears. Seeing that she has now put the car in park. "Really Cam!" I scream as I raise from my seat.

"First of all you're the definition of annoying, and second WHAT THE FRICK IS THIS PARK JOB YOU IDIOT!" I look around seeing we are about 3 blocks from the beach.

"I'm sorry I just got a little into my music." She says lightly with a smirk on her face. I just push the door open and grab my beach bag, walking away from the bright orange van.

Cam catches up to me holding my hand. I swear to god this girl is going to be the death of me. She just laughs and I smirk at her as well. We both know that none of us are really mad and quite frankly the constant bickering between us two is normal and we both know it's just to get a laugh out of one another.

After the long walk to the water we find a spot in the sand. It's our usual place no one is ever around this area, just the sound of the crashing waves meeting the sand. Even though these days are what I enjoy most I can't help but feel like i'm missing something in my life.

I look over to see Cam pulling out her phone and a couple white claws she had brought along. Of course she knows what I like best as she hands me the watermelon flavored drink. I crack the can and take a big swig as the taste runs down my throat and the bitterness sits on my tongue.

She is now pulling up instagram on her phone. As usual Cam is all over social media she loves knowing everything about everyone. I know I know, you could even call her Gretchen Wieners. I get snapped out of my thoughts when i hear the clicks of a camera. I roll my eyes and look her way smiling brightly at her phone. I then watch her post it on instagram receiving 300 likes in under 20 minutes.

As I lay myself on the hot sand I hear her screech and start shaking my body. "Em girl we just got invited to one of the biggest parties!!" "HOLY SHIT!!" she screams literally bursting my eardrums for the second time today. I reply quickly "Cam we have to go, oh my god!" She rolls her eyes at me like i'm crazy, "Of course we have to go you dumbass now get your stuff come on!"

I furrow my eyebrows wondering why she is wanting to leave the beach at 2pm for a party that starts at 8. "Cam we don't have to leave that early." She starts screaming at me saying this party is once in a lifetime bla bla bla that we have to look our best bla bla bla. I oblige as she starts dragging me back to the van.

She drives the both of us to my house to get ready because she literally lives there at this point.
