"I'm going to be late for my flight mom!" I scream as i put the last suitcase in the car.
"I'm going.. hold on" my mom yelled back to me.
"Go tell your father that were ready to leave"
I run back inside the house looking around remembering every memory I've had growing up for the past 18 years.
I'm going to be studying abroad for college in south Korea.
My parents aren't really a big fan but they know it's my dream to travel so they're letting me.
At the airport:
"Well this is it" I say looking at the 2 people who have raised me my whole life.
"We love you Y/N stay safe and always text us"
"Yes mom I know"
Yes I would be also attending college in Korea with my best friend which made me more happy that I would be with someone I knew from my childhood, but it's still so surreal to me.
-time skip to landing-
"UGHHH" Mya said as we brought up the last suit case to our new apartment.
"Dude why the hell did you pack so much"
"I'm sorry ok I didn't know what I was gonna need, Sorry we're moving across the damn world and it's not like I can just walk down the street to my house and grab it"
"Ok ok sorry don't get all butt hurt" Mya says.
"Do you think we're gonna be fine you know cause the language and just adapting"
"We will be fine calm down"
"Sooo do you think we will meet any cute guys while studying here"
"Mya we came to get an education stay focused we didn't come to get boyfriends..." even though it would be nice, NO stop I thought to myself don't think like that
"Ugh whatever Y/N when your the one with a boyfriend before me I'm going to remind you" Mya said as she walked to her bedroom.
