"Goodbye!", I yelled and waved at the old lady as me and Nina descended down from the old stone stairs.

"It was so boring!", Nina said pouting.

I chuckled, Nina hated babysitting but it was our job. We needed pocket money so mom had found a job for us which was to babysit Ellie while her grandmother was at the hospital with her mother.
   
       Ellie's mom had Lukemia and had been in the ICU for sometime now and Ellie had been staying with Mrs. Selkise for some months. We were supposed to go there every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m till 5 p.m.
   
     It was a good job as Ellie was well-behaved and nice but Nina found it boring anyways.

"Shut up!", she said glaring at me, "She should at least have service at her house!"

"Well! It's not her fault that you're always glued to your phone!", I snickered trying to annoy her.

She shrugged and just walked ahead of me.

It was getting dark and we were a long way from home right now.

"So?", I said as she sat down on a bench.

"I'm tired!", she said looking down.

I sat down beside her and sighed...

Typical Nina!

"How are you and Allen doing?", she asked.

"Wait- What?!", I said not really expecting the question.

"Your bf idiot!", she said hitting my shoulder.

"Ouch!" ,I cried glaring at her.

"You still didn't answer me!", she said moving her eyebrows up and down.

"He is n- not my bf!", I stammered looking at my lap, blushing intensely.

"Oooooooo~", she said with a evil smirk.

"What?!", I said frowning, "Let's ju-just go!"

I got up and fixed my skirt while blushing.

"Okay!", she groaned and stood up while staring at a guy that passed by.

I nudged her.

"What?!", she frowned.

We continued our walk, Nina talking to her friend on her phone.
My head was full with thoughts right now.

I admit I liked Len, just a teensy bit though.

I was scared of being close to him as I had been rejected by him already.

      Was it just a little crush? Or is it something more?

This thoughts would never leave my mind at all, just the fact that Nina could think that he was my bf made me somewhat happy too.

What hell was I thinking?!

I shook my head as our house came in view.

We got in and took our coats off while Lemu jumped on me.

"Hey there princess!", I said hugging her tightly.

"You guys took a lot of time!", my mom said frowning.

"I'm sorry mom", I said smiling weakly as I was very tired.

"The food is in the kitchen go eat it!", she said before going upstairs to the bedroom.

"I'm full!", Nina yelled banging the door of her room.

I sighed, it's only me again.

I took the chicken out of the fridge and put it in the microwave as I poured some water in a glass.
