Annabeth's POV
Once we went through the glass doors of Outback, I immediately saw a waitress wearing a very revealing outfit. She had brown hair, with a very short mini skirt, and a very tight top that makes her buttons looking like it's going to explode. I tried my best not to give my signature death glare at her, but beside me I saw Percy staring at her. I was so mad and dragged Percy into a booth. After we sat down we decided on what we wanted, the same waitress with the revealing outfit came to us and said, "Hey there, cutie, here's my number. Call me." She purred to Percy, who was staring at her, "Wow... you look... nice." My jaw dropped when Percy said that, then I immediately heard him think,
'Oh my gods, did I just say that OUT LOUD?!?! But Annabeth's prettier than her, like so much prettier. I mean, Annabeth has this gorgeous body and hair. Wow Percy, what happened to you?It's just the hormones. Oh Annabeth is going to be so pissed, I cannot confess to her after what I just said. I guess I'll find some other time to say that.'
Aww, he thinks I'm prettier and that compliment! I mentally scolded myself because my 'inner Aphrodite' is showing, what did you do Aphrodite?!?! My cheeks were burning up when finally another waiter came claiming that he was our waiter, not Ms Stealing Percy other there. Turns out Ms Annoying is actually not a waitress, she doesn't work here and she's just one of the customers. Eating lunch was well, quiet. We didn't talk much until I got an idea, "Hey Percy, would you like to go to the mall with me?" I asked. "Umm Annabeth I don't really feel like going to the mall and besides, we only told Chiron we are just going to eat." He said timidly, "Well, suit yourself, I just wanted to go buy some BLUE jelly beans and BLUE sour patch kids for you, but if you insist, we'll just go back to camp. I said with a smug smile. "FINE! FINE! FINE!!! I will go with you, just promise me to buy blue jelly beans and blue sour patch kids, I'm kinda running out." He said half shouting. "I nodded and we walked out of the restaurant."
