Blip!

Caesar's phone recieved a text notification. His eyes perked up from his laptop and looked at the smaller screen.

Joseph ᴶᵘˢᵗ ᴺᵒʷ

Hey Caesarino! Wanna go get some lunch w/ me and Smokey?

ˢˡᶦᵈᵉ ᵗᵒ ʳᵉᵖˡʸ

Caesar rolled his eyes and chuckled to himself quietly. His finger slid the message to the right and unlocked his phone.

Cᴀᴇsᴀʀ ᴶᵘˢᵗ ᴺᵒʷ

Of course. Where are we meeting up? Also, Smokey and I*.

Caesar saved the document he was working on and packed up his stuff. He picked up his empty coffee cup and threw it away on the way out. Once he walked onto the sidewalk, he took his phone out, plugged in his headphones and played his playlist filled with songs by Elton John, Sting and Luciano Pavarotti. After a few minutes of walking, he stopped and checked for messages.

Joseph ² ᵐᶦⁿᵘᵗᵉˢ ᵃᵍᵒ

Stop being such a nerd and meet us at Cantina Cantarini. >:^

ˢˡᶦᵈᵉ ᵗᵒ ʳᵉᵖˡʸ

He switched off his music and looked around at where he was. Turning around, he noticed he was just next to the restaurant. It was a few buildings down, his phone's web mapping app said. Caesar replied to the message.

Cᴀᴇsᴀʀ ᴶᵘˢᵗ ᴺᵒʷ

I'm a few buildings down, so I'll get there in about 2-3 minutes. :)

He couldn't help but put the smiley face. He didn't want to sound disinterested, and the face that Joseph had texted was cute. He smiled to himself.

Caesar happened to walk a little too close to the edge of the sidewalk, because right as he realized it, his foot slipped over the edge. Caesar clenched his eyes shut, trying to regain balance, but to no avail. He let go of his phone and practically fell backwards, but to his surprise, he didn't feel any cold water around him. He slowly opened his eyes to see a somewhat masculine arm grabbing his wrist tightly. The man's other arm held the phone by the wire of his headphones. Caesar looked up at the man and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Trying to get a free bath, huh?" Joseph snickered.

"Shut up, you sciocco! Pull me up already!" Caesar called out, trembling. Joseph did as he was told and pulled Caesar up from the edge. The brunette handed the blonde his phone and put his hands in his jean pockets. Unexpectedly, Joseph received a flick on the nose. He flinched and put his hands over his nose. Smokey laughed a little at that.

Once they arrived at Cantina Cantarini, Caesar reached into his pocket. "Your next line is, 'I will be paying for lunch today,' right?" Joseph predicted. "I will b-..." Caesar started. Caesar turned to Joseph and glared. "Too bad, Caesar-chan. Already reserved a table for us." Joseph smiled slyly, Caesar scoffing at him.

"That infantile trick of yours is starting to get just un po 'fastidioso." Caesar took his index and middle finger and made a sign for small, smirking in an annoyed manner. Joseph just chuckled and smiled goofily. The three males walked into the fancy restaurant, sitting down at a table next to a tall window. Smokey sat down next to the window, looking out at the spectacular view.

The waiter walked over and greeted them. Joseph crossed his arms, "I already know what I want. What about you Smokey?" The raven-haired boy looked back at Joseph and smiled, "I have always wanted to try Cacio e Pepe. I'll get that and water."
