Chapter 26: Cincinnati

ShyAnne's POV

*Two Weeks Later*

"Andy!" His mom exclaimed as we arrived at baggage claim. We had a day in between shows and so Andy and I flew into Cincinnati where the next show was to spend the extra day with his parents. Tour has been great so far. We traveled up and down the West Coast, went to a few states in the south, and now we're on the east coast for a bit. It's been nice to see parts of the country I've never seen before. We said our hellos to his parents, gathered our bags, and went out to the car.

"So how has tour been?" His mom asked.

"It's been going real good. It's nice to be out on the road again." Andy said.

"How's your first tour going?" Amy asked me.

"I like it, it's a lot of fun. I just don't see how five people can thrive on a bus. It's crowded enough now." I laughed.

"You get used to it." Andy shrugged. We made it to their house and unloaded our bags, carrying them inside.

"Gather your dirty laundry, I'm going to do a load." Andy said, tossing his bag on the bed and rummaging through it. I did the same and put my dirty clothes in the basket Andy had grabbed. He went downstairs with the basket and I followed him. I found Amy in the kitchen and I started chatting with her, helping her out where she needed it.

We spent most of the day relaxing since we've already seen Cincinnati so there wasn't a lot of sight seeing to do, and we were exhausted. Shortly after a nice home cooked dinner, Andy and I took turns taking a nice long, hot shower. Something I've definitely missed while being on the road. We went to bed pretty early since we were just so tired from the constant go go go of the last two weeks.

We were up early so his parents could drive us to the venue. We got there and saw the bus was already parked there. Andy's parents came inside with us and I stood with them side stage while I watched the guys do their soundcheck. I never get tired of this, no matter how many times I see it. After they finished, Andy's parents took everyone out to lunch where they got to know Lonny and Sage a bit better. We all went back to Andy's parents house after lunch to hang out. After we were there for a bit, Amy got up to start cooking dinner and I got up to help her.

"Oh honey, you don't have to help me! Go, relax!"

"But I want to help you!" I insisted.

"Oh you are too sweet, thank you." She said. Together, we cooked dinner and called the guys over so they could begin eating. After Andy and I finished, we ran upstairs to quickly pack up our things and came back down. We all piled back into Andy's parents' car and drove back to the venue. We all went to the bus so Andy and I could drop off our stuff and the boys could get ready.

During the show, I stood with Andy's parents again on the side of the stage and we watched the show together, all of us cheering extra loud for them. They finished their set and Andy's mom wrapped him in a tight hug the moment he got off stage. Andy smiled and hugged his mom back. He hugged his dad and then went to go wipe his sweat off. They followed us out to the bus and we all said our final goodbyes.

"I am so incredibly proud of you honey." His mom said, hugging him again.

"Thanks mom." He said, hugging her. He hugged his dad and I gave them hugs too before we loaded up on the bus and headed off to our next show in Greensboro, North Carolina.
