Marshall?! What happened?!

Fiona's POV

All I can hear are Marshall's words echoing in my head. "He's gay". No, he isn't, I know he isn't, he sang that song to me, he loves me. I need to talk to cake, I call out for her but she isn't coming. Maybe one of her kittens needed her. I end up just going to my room, I sit there on the bed, he isn't gay. I'll prove Marshall wrong, I'll go to the candy kingdom and tell Gumball how I feel, and he'll tell me he loves me. A smile creeps onto my face as I hum his song to me. You'll see Marshall, he will love me, and only me.

Marshall's POV

I will apologize to Fiona later but I need to tell Gumball, I have to I can't keep lying to myself anymore. I make it to the candy kingdom and I see Mono and Cake together with the kittens. I guess cake must have told Fi she was going after I left. I fly over to Gumball's window and knock on it, it takes a moment but the candy prince himself appears and I smile and wave to him. He opens the window and says, "What is it, Marshall?" My chest starts to hurt as I open my mouth to speak, but I am at a loss for words, what's wrong with me? I swallow, "C-can I come inside?" He stands there for a moment and nods as he opens the window all the way and I fly in landing on his bed. "Are you ok Marshall? You look as if you've seen a ghost." I nod. "I just need to tell you that. Well, Remember the last time Fi and I got you from Simone?", He nods, "Yes, what about it? Did something happen?" I take in a deep breath, "I was very angry and well scared, I never really saw her kidnap you before and I was worried," He sighs, "Marshall I know you want her back, well the old her. And you know I will help any way I can." I shake my head, "No I wasn't worried for her, I was worried for you. I didn't know if she was gonna hurt you or not. I was ready to. Well, do what I needed to keep you safe." I look down at my hands. "Look Gumball I know back then we were happy, and I fu- messed it all up by being a ding." I look at him, his eyes are filled with wonder and a hint of, fear. "I know you don't feel the same anymore, nor will I force you too. But Gumball, I think I am still in love with you." His eyes widen, he looks away and gets up. My brows Furrow as I leap to my feet. "That's all I wanted to say. I'll be going now." tears start to stream down my face. He hasn't said a word but I don't want him too, it'll break me if he does. So I rush out, as I do all I can hear is Gumball saying  "Marshall! Wait!" No, I don't wanna wait, I don't want you to see me like this. Not now, Not ever.

Gumball POV

He is still in love with me? But I thought he hated me. Before I could even speak he just hurriedly left. "Marshall! Wait!" He doesn't even look back, I look down and quietly say to myself, "I'm still in love with you too." tears run down my face, I know he is bad at showing emotion, but I also know he is hurting, he thinks I hate him but I could never, no matter what he does, I love him.

Fiona POV

"I'm still in love with you too." He said it. I can't believe he would do this to me. He doesn't love Marshall he is only saying that, cause he knows I am here. but I leave anyway, when I get home Cake still isn't here. I look over at the picture of Gumball that I have, He loves me, I know he does. I run to the bathroom and lock the door, I take off my shirt as I run my hands over my stomach. I reach over to the knife we keep in there, I aim it and start to write "He loves me." "Gumball is mine" "Oh Gumball" I breathe through my teeth. It hurts, It hurts so bad. But I'll show this to him and he'll see, He'll see how much I care. Suddenly I hear Cake calling for me, I panic, I clean off the knife quickly and any other blood that stained the bathroom. "Hold on Cake!" I call out, I wrap my stomach quickly and make sure nothing leaks through, I put my shirt back on and unlock the door and head down to the living room. "Oh hey, Cake. Where were you?" She has a big smile on her face. "Baby, I was with Mono right, and guess who I see?" Marshall. "Who?" she puts her paws out and says. "Marshall frickin Lee" I act surprised. "Oh? What was he doing there?" She sighs and smiles. "Good' ole King Of Edgy told Pink wonder he was IN LOVE WITH HIM!" I grit my teeth. "Wow oh, my glob that's serious!" She screams, "I KNOW, and get this I think princey likes him back but edge lord left before anything happened." She sighs again. "Well maybe GB only likes him as a friend?" She shakes her head, "No no girl, Cake knows when she sees love and them boys are in it." I force a smile. "Well, that's awesome for them! But I think I am gonna go to bed Cake, That movie made me tired." Cake frowns, "You ok baby?" I nod my head, "Yeah just really tired, Oh and tomorrow why don't you spend the day with Mono? You guys haven't had a day together since the Kitts were born." She smiles, "Thanks Fi, I love ya" I fake a yawn, "I love ya too Cake." I go off to bed, I know tomorrow will be super eventful.

The Next Day At The Candy Kingdom

Gumball POV

I need to hurry and finish my duties so I can go see Marshall, but what if he doesn't wanna talk about it. No, he'll wanna talk about it I know he will. I finish up what I am doing in the lab, and walk to my room to get dressed in less royal attire. I open my door to see Fiona I gasp, "Fiona! You frightened me. Why are you in my bedroom?" I question, she looks at me as if I have broken her. "Gumball, I need to tell you that I love you! And I know you love me! Screw Marshall! We can be happy together! Just you and me!" Why is everyone in love with me?! "Fiona I-" She cuts me off as she lifts up her shirt. I look away but she grabs my hands and makes me look. "Look Gumball, Look what I did for you!" All I can see is blood and deep cuts that spell out words on her stomach. I quickly back away and hold my mouth. "Fiona! Why would you do this?! We need to get you to Doctor Poundcake now!" She screams, "I DID THIS FOR YOU GUMBALL TO SHOW YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU! AND I KNOW YOU LOVE ME TOO! YOU SANG THAT SONG TO ME AND YOU HAD SO MUCH PASSION IN YOUR VOICE I KNEW!" Song? What song? "Fiona, Please you need medical attention. I never sang any song to you. Please Fiona just let me help you." She backs away. "You, you don't love me?" she says as tears run down her cheeks."Fiona, I do love you, but as a friend, now please let me get you to a doctor!" She puts her shirt on and runs out. "FIONA!" I follow her but before I can even get to her the banana guards stop me. "Prince, we heard yelling are you ok?" I can't tell them, they will freak out. "Yes I am fine did you see Fiona?" They nod and tell me that she left the castle already. I thank the guards and chase after her. I left the castle and look for her I see her run into the Forrest. Dang it, I need Mono, Wait, He is with Cake,Dang it x2. Well, I guess ill just chase after her.

Marshall's POV

Why did I tell him? I know he doesn't feel the same way why would he? I am not what he wants. I'll never be. I get up, I should go and apologize to Fiona, I didn't mean to yell at her, I should have just helped her. I put on some clothes along with my hat and gloves and go to Fiona's. Once I get there I call out. "Hey Fi? Its Marshall, Can we talk?" I look around but see her no were, I look up as I hear stomping up the ladder I fly up there "Fi? Are you here?" I suddenly hear something Fall and I rush to where I heard it. oh god, no no no "FIONA!" I quickly get her down from the set up she had, she gasps for air. "Marshall..w-why did you.." I shush her and hold her close as I see blood come from her stomach. Oh god, this is my fault. this is all my fault. I start to cry "Fiona I am so sorry I shouldn't have even told you, I'm so sorry this is my fault" she looks at me, and before she says anything she passes out. I sob, I don't know what to do, who do I call. "FIONA! WHERE ARE YOU PLEASE LET ME HELP!" I hear a voice and i don't hesitate "IN HERE HURRY!" I pick her up gently as the voice turns into rapid footsteps. Its Gumbal, "MARSHALL?? WHAT HAPPENED??" I look at him tears in my eyes. "I'll tell you later we need to get her help." He nods "I'll get on your back just take her to Doctor Poundcake." I nod as we head outside I turn into my bat form and Gumball gets on my back as we race off to the Candy Kingdom.
