Chapter 9
Staring at the figure high up in the branches I begin to think a little about who it is and what they may want from me. During my thinking process, the figure starts to move towards me slowly and I notice that it's a female. This relieved me somewhat but I refuse to let my guard down. I probably should run but I'm not going to because I want to know what she wants. She finally reaches within 10 feet of me and I can see long silver hair and warm hazel eyes. Is this some kind of dream? I've never seen someone with silver hair before, except in anime series I would watch in my spare time. But other than that no... Something about her gave me a very familiar feeling, her look alone I recognize from somewhere but I can't put my finger on it.
"Who are you and what do you want with me?" I finally build up the courage to ask.
" I am Moricka, the seeker and I am hear to tell you about a prophecy." Her voice calm.
"What prophecy?" I ask slightly confused.
" The prophecy of the Silver Bullet. You are closely connected to it so I would imagine you'd know but I guess not." Her tone suggested she was a bit disappointed.
"I've learnt not to talk to strangers you know." I say matter of factly. She laughs and just looks at me for a while, although I can't necessarily read her emotions or expression, she seems to be in deep thought.
"I know, your mother taught you well as I can see, she mutters something under her breath.
"When you get home tell your mother Moricka says it's time." She said with the slyest smile I've ever seen.
" Want me to quote that..? And what exactly do you mean by it's time?" I say confused.
" She'll tell you exactly what time it is." She smiles slyly once again. She then urges me to look up and when I looked back down she wasn't there. As quick as that she had vanished... vanished without a trace...
