"Alright, breathe Donatello. Breathe, this'll work you know it will. Just ask her out, it's not rocket science." I tell myself. Though I must admit, this seems just as difficult. I take a deep breath and exit the lab to find April. It's only been a few days since Bebop and Rocksteady left the Foot Clan as well as New York, and with Kraang gone the only thing on my mind lately has been April. Today I've finally built up enough courage to ask her to be my girlfriend. I just really hope she shares my feelings.

I head into the living room to see her chatting with Leo and Mikey about what the next step is now that we don't need to "fight evil" anymore as Mikey would put it. "H-hey April, I-I don't mean to interrupt your conversation but, uh, c-could I talk to you privately for a minute?" I ask trying, and failing, to not sound nervous. Leo smiles a little and nods. "Go ahead April, we can talk more later. Mikey, how about we play that new game Casey bought you." Leo suggests, to which an oblivious Mikey agrees. 

While Leo and Mikey start up the game I lead April to the lab. "Ok D, I know somethings on your mind. You've been acting strange these past few days." she says in a worried tone. "W-well I, uh, I've been wanting to ask you if you, uh *Insert adorkably nervous chuckle*" Come on Donnie spit it out!! It's now or never!! "Y-you see April, the thing is I-I've had a huge crush on you ever since I first saw you. I-I-I just never quite knew how to tell you." I say starting to fidget quite a bit.

"Y-you see April, the thing is I-I've had a huge crush on you ever since I first saw you. I-I-I just never quite knew how to tell you." Donnie says as I begin turning almost as red as my hair. Donnie's always been a really good friend of mine but nothing more. Having said that, I can't stand seeing him hurt. Oh, this another fine mess I've gotten myself into......I knew I should have been more careful with my affection towards Donnie!! "A-April? A-are you o-ok?" Donnie says shaking me out of my thoughts. I'm gonna hate myself later but....here goes nothing. "Y-yeah D, I'm fine. You just caught me off guard is all. To be honest, I've liked you for a while now too." I lie, mentally killing myself. "You have!" Donnie says lighting up brighter than the sun itself.

I hope Donnie comes to his senses...and soon...

"Ok, new school, same curriculum. This is not all that different than home school." I say trying to give myself a pep-talk before I freak out too much. "Chill out Vae! Your gonna do great, or at least better than me." my slightly older brother, Casey, says. "You got so close to failing you had a tutor for six months! I'm certain I'll do far better than you...it's all the people that worry me." I tell him as we approach the double doors. "But everything worked out in the end! Not only that, but I also met the most amazing girlfriend a guy could have!" he responded. I frown knowing all too well that she's cheating on someone named Donnie for my brother. I was eavesdropping on him again during one of their "secret dates" and I almost smacked them both right then and there when I had heard what that April chick said.
