Kashel's POV

I woke up as a delicious smell filled my nose. "Good morning sleepyhead! I cooked breakfast."

"I can tell." I giggled at his cuteness. Sniffing the food that he cooked
make my stomach grumbles.

"What are you waiting for? Dig in!" He gestured for me to sit with him with a grin on his face. I waste no time and followed him and sat, grabbing a weird shape thingy which he calls a food. I stare for it for a moment and stuffed them on my mouth.

"Good, right? I know it." He boastfully smirked at me.

"Mhhmmmm." I hummed in response, attempting to open my mouth but failed. I was going to fire back at him about his cheekiness but I'm too hungry to say something right now. The chunky, tenderness of the food that I'm chewing right now just taste so incredible. Something I have never tasted before.

"What is it?" I finally manage to ask.

"Fish."

I choked as soon as the word came out of his mouth and started gagging.

"What's wrong?!" He panicked rushing over to me.

"I have to tell you something."

I am now staring at the man I've been searching for. The man who killed my parents. The man I hate to every bone of my body. And yet here I am infront of him, about to have dinner with him.

How dare he act like I'm a total stranger. After all the times that we've spent together. All the memories. Is that so easy to forget me?

"Kashel dear? What are you waiting for? Dig in!" Mrs. O'Brien snapped me out of my thoughts. Those words. Those same exact words, said by her sick son. I gave her a small smile and looked down at my plate. Fish.

"It's fish, my dear. My son Drew here, caught and cooked it himself." Mrs. O'Brien grinned proudly at his son. Of course. Just like how he cooked for us the very first time.

"I'm sorry but I don't eat fish." I told them politely.

"Oh if that's the case, Drew can cook you anything you want. " Mrs. O'Brien insisted kindly while turning to his son.

"No thanks. But can I please stay here for the night?" I asked Mrs. O'Brien shamelessly. It's really embarrassing to just randomly ask people to stay for the night even if the person is a complete stranger to them. But I just had to.

"Oh sure! No problem." She answered without hesitation.

"Thanks" I stared at drew who sits infront of me and winked.

Well, it's part of the plan.

Drew O'Brien? Brace yourself.
