7p.m. Friday night. Most people spend this time out of their houses, partying until the sun comes up. Usually Lucifer would be doing the same, but since he had met Chloe, he found himself doing it less and less, until he only went out with her.

This Friday was no different. He was sat in front of his TV scrolling aimlessly through Netflix when his elevator dinged.

"Luci! Thank dad you're home."

Amenadiel ran over to him, baby in hand with Linda following. He forcefully placed Charlie in Lucifer's arms, receiving a very confused look from his brother.

"Wha-"
"Can you watch Charlie for a few hours? Our babysitter cancelled last minute, and Linda and I were still hoping for a date night."
"Brother I-"
"Great thanks!"

With that Amenadiel and Linda ran back to the elevator. Leaving Lucifer home alone with a child who was barely six months old. He looked down at Charlie who made a pouty face before starting to scream. Not sure what to do, he picked up his phone and called Chloe.

"Hi babe what's- is that a child screaming?"
"Yes. My brother thought it would be a good idea to leave me alone with Charlie for a few hours. I have no idea what I'm doing, can you please come help me?"

Chloe started laughing uncontrollably. The idea of Lucifer taking care of a child by himself was just too good.

"Yes I'm well aware this situation is funny, now can you please come help me?"
"You're lucky Trixie is at Dan's tonight."
"So that's a yes?"
"I'll be there in ten minutes."

Right on time, Chloe walked into the penthouse ten minutes later. Charlie was still crying and Lucifer was waking around the penthouse, trying everything he could to calm him down.

She chuckled at the sight. He turned to face her and relief flooded into his face. Lucifer speed walked over to her and handed her the baby.

"Wow you're really bad at this."
"Yes I know, please help me."
"I mean nothing calmed him down? You couldn't do anything to calm him down?"
"Well before, my devil face calmed him down. But it appears the child has grown out of that interest."
"He liked your- you know what never mind. Let me try something."

Chloe put the baby into a hug sort of hold. She then started bouncing slowly, joined with a simple lullaby. Lucifer had never heard her sing before, and despite it being a children's song, it was beautiful.

The baby calmed and Lucifer smiled. It was quite a cute sight to see, and it amazed him how easily it came to her.

"You're really good at this."

Chloe looked up at him and smiled.

"Thanks. But a lot of practice went into being good at it."

Lucifer walked around back to see if Charlie had fallen asleep. He had, and while he was sleeping the angel side of him popped out. Lucifer smiled at the infant.

Despite him being loud, he did like the kid, and thought he was fun to look after. Lucifer walked back around to Chloe and looked at her lovingly.

"What if we made one of these?"

Chloe's face looked confused as she looked up at him.

"What?"
"You and me. Start a family."
"Lucifer we aren't even married."
"So? Sense when have we ever been normal?"

Chloe looked down at Charlie and smiled. She did like the idea of doing this with him. But with their own little one. She looked back up to him with a smile on her face.

"Yeah. Okay."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Let's do it."
