You've been given a task to write a whole ass essay about what happened during The World War II so here you are, during free period, at the library, trying to look for something that would be helpful on the essay you were working on. It was the middle of September so it's a bit cold now since winter is almost around the corner.
You sat near on the table right near the front door of the library because there was no other seat left. So when the library doors opened to let in a wave of cold air, biting at your skin, you glared at the person who walked in, only to slump into a soft smile when you catch sight of Hongjoong. You best friend, whom is also your long time crush.
His hands running through his strongly dyed blue hair as his eyes wander across the room. He was panting. His lips parted slightly as he examines the tables and computer desks with a heavy breath. His eyes light up in recognition when he meets your gentle smile and he rushes over, throwing himself into the chair opposite you.
"Y/N! I was looking for you." Hongjoong puffs wildly, immediately slumping into the seat as he tried to catch his breath.
You put aside you things for a moment and stared at the man in front of you.
So much for research...
"Whoa, calm down Joong. Why do you look like you joined a hundred-mile marathon?" you asked with a chuckle as you gave him a bottle of water.
"Thanks..." he mumbled before chugging down half the water inside the container. He closed the lid and stared at you.
"I have big news." There's a loose grin on his face which made him look cuter than he already is and you can't help but to reach over to pinch at his cheeks, the tip of your pen that you didn't bother to let go of, marking his chin.
"What is it?" you said, letting go and wiping the mark on his chin as you felt his eyes at you.
"Get this." he stares around dramatically, as if to look for anyone eavesdropping. Hongjoong leans in and cups his lips in an exaggerated whisper.
"Somebody has a crush on you."
"Huh?" you can't help the little stutter of your heart, flattered by the news despite all your affections being focused on Hongjoong himself.
Hearing that someone is actually crushing on you made you flustered and in doubt for someone reason because the whole time you were at this school, no one, not even one, had the courage to ask you out or even confess that they like you. You started to think that guys got turned off because you were too boyish and you always hang out with guys instead of girls.
"Who is it?" The blue haired boy drops his neck and gives a slow head shake, disapproving.
"I can't just tell you." he chuckles. He looks back up, his blue locks falling through those fake glasses he's always wearing, brushing against his eyes.
"Well, gimme a hint at least?"
"Alright!" It's as if he was waiting for you to ask that, perking up and laying his weight on open palms. A mischievious glint on his eyes.
"Hint one, it's a boy." he playfully wiggled his brows. Hongjoong internally chuckled at your reaction. You looked so done with his mischiefs which made him giggle. You looked so cute when you were pissed off, hence, why he always teases you.
"Right, so more than half of the school?" you deadpan, rolling your eyes at his comment.
"I never said they went to our school." Hongjoong laughs when you tilt your head in interest, "but yes, they go to our school."
"Another hint!" The corners of his eyes crinkle up in amusement at your enthusiasm, internally cooing at the way your fists close up eagerly making you look extremely adorable in his eyes.
