Max was writing a random story she was thinking of writing as she was a student and had an English essay due for Tuesday and it's Thursday.

sitting at her desk she looks to her roommate Beverly. 'what?' Beverly questions as she makes a milkshake.
'could you be any louder?' Max asks rhetorically. 'i'll try.' Max doesn't like Beverly all that much but she only rented out the spare room because she can't afford it alone. Max only rolls her eyes at Beverly and proceeded to write at her desk. 'i can't focus with that! i'm gonna go for a walk.' Beverly only sighs and continues. she desperately wants to be friends with Max but Max isn't even trying.

Max ties her green vans as she throws on a red hoodie with a black hood, tossing 50 pence into her pocket. 'bye.' Beverly waves, trying to be nice. 'bye.' Max turns and walks away.

outside she sees someone familiar. a girl. her hair was a light brown and she had brown eyes, she was wearing a yellow hoodie with black shorts and DM boots. she was struggling to lift around 20 moving boxes into her house.

'eleven?' Max questioned as she walks up to the girl. 'Max?' they stare for a moment before hugging tightly. 'what happened to you? i haven't seen you since you left!' Max exclaimed loudly. 'Mike told me to only talk to him. that you didn't want to talk to me.' el replies sadly. 'what?!' Max got angry. 'he lied?' el asks sounding confused. 'yes el.' Max sighs. 'i've always wanted to talk to you. i'd never hate you!' el smiles. 'thanks Max. Mike and i broke up, around a year ago.' Max laughs, 'you lasted that long? good on you.' el lifts another box. 'could you help?' Max agrees happily.

'so will you be attending school?' Max inquires when el gave her tea. 'yeah Hawkins high. you go there?' Max nodded. 'i do and am currently writing a 15 page essay for Tuesday.' el's eyes widened in shook. 'is Mike there?'
'sadly, but so is Lucas and Dustin!' Max grew excited.

eventually she reluctantly had to leave. 'i only live across the road. oh! we could walk to school together!' Max' eyes sparkled. 'we could. well see you tomorrow?' Max nods.

'Max why are blushing so much? your face matches your hair!' Beverly was reading at her own desk. 'i'm blushing?' Beverly nodded. 'see a cute guy?' Max frowns. 'no my best friend from when i moved. Jane.' she didn't want to explain why she was called "eleven." 'so a girl?' Beverly sat up. 'do you like her?' Max contemplates. 'no. and i haven't seen her in 4 years!' she explains. 'but is she walking to school with you?' Max looks to Beverly quizzically. 'why?'
'if so you'll definitely fall in love.' Max slaps Bev playfully. 'you know i don't fall in love.'
