author notes before you start ☁️

a/n: hello everybody and welcome to my first post on this account! i'm very excited about this story so i hope you really enjoy it, just want to say a few things before it's started though:

🤍structure🤍

~ this story takes place from the end of 4th year and goes eventually beyond hogwarts, and won't always follow the structure of the books perfectly so as to make it flow better. hopefully this won't be a problem, feel free to fill in the gaps mentally if this will bother you! :)

~ in this AU, harry and draco have been together since the start of third year too, so are an established couple. i'll put in some flashbacks so you will find out how it all happened, but it's not integral to the plot.

~ it's a relatively slow burn action plot but has plenty of twists, and should hopefully be easy to follow

~ i'm going to keep the chapters relatively short where i can so that i can upload more frequently and move the plot onwards :)

~ i have already got the first chapter done as i write this now, and a plan for the next 35+ short chapters (i know, commitment!) so i hope to be able to update fairly often.

~ hopefully this could end up being a trilogy (i have a plan for it if it works out!) so watch this space if you enjoy this story!!
