Warmth is all they felt, Warmth and love. The two boys in each other's arms like before.
Nothing had ever felt so right. Not even the perfect set to the perfect spike. All they could think about was right there and then, but never in a million years did they think they would end up where they are today. They stare into each other's eyes wishing this moment could last forever, but it can't. Kageyama looks down breaking eye contact. A tear rolls down his cheek, Hinata places his hand on his face and moves his thumb across to wipe it away. "Hey it's okay" he laughs and then coughs repeatedly. Hinata sits up from the bed coughing and Kageyama follows and starts to hug him, "You're gonna be okay love" the tall boy says with a big smile while trying to hold back the tears filling up in his eyes. Hinata loves how he reassures him, they then lay back on the bed. Hinata in Kageyama's arms, both looking at the ceiling. Hinata knows he's lying but doesn't say a word, he wants to spend his time happy and Kageyama did just that. They lie there side by side, Kageyama's arm underneath the small boys head and their hands over their bodies intertwining with one another. Kageyama loved how perfect their hands were for each other, fingers linking together like a key to a lock. "Hey Kags?" Hinata mumbles before taking a deep breath. "Yeah?" Kageyama replies. "Remember when we first met?" Hinata asks eagerly. "Like it was yesterday..." he explains dropping a smirk in Hinata's direction.*3 years before*
"Hey Shoyo you don't look so good, are you okay?" A boy shouts from behind him. Hinata turns his head over his shoulder and flashes a smile. "I'm fine just a little nervous" he shouts.
H: * This gym is huge! I've never played in one like this before. Only high school and college students play in these gyms, just wait until I'm in high school.* " I'll be the best Ace around!" He shouts as he jumps in the air watching his team mates walk on in front of him. There was hardly ever a downfall in Hinata's personality, he was happy all the time. That is until now, playing his first game ever was nerve wrecking for him. He'd seen other teams his age play and they were always way better then the team he'd put together. Nevertheless he was always positive and never once doubted himself or his abilities. His team however didn't have that kind of optimism. They just showed up for Hinata because it makes him happy, they didn't have something special but Hinata did, he was special and everyone was about to see that. They line up waiting for the match to start and one person in particular catches his eye, a tall, dark blue haired boy in a blue jersey. On the opposite team. They had never met before but he instantly felt like he knew the tall boy, which made him determined to find out his name. The tall boy glances in his direction and notices Hinata starring at his hair, before the tall boy could question it he also finds himself looking at Hinata's hair. His messy golden hair. He felt captivated by its brightness. He's now as curious as the small boy.As the match starts they both occasionally look at each other, both boys were genuinely curious about one another. As they take their positions the tall boy's eyes follow Hinata across the court to find him stood in front of him. The tall boy stands leaned over using his legs as support for his arms, he looks to the floor and takes a deep breath. "Who are you?" Hinata asks confused. He raises his head "what's it to you?" The tall boy replies. Hinata jumps slightly not expecting his reaction, "Sorry, you freaked me out" the tall boy says with a sigh looking up at him. "It's okay, you just look really familiar for some reason." Hinata says staring at the tall boy tilting his head. "Yeah I was thinking the same thing." He says putting his hand on his hip. They both stand there for a while looking at one another. Until they're cut off by the whistle blowing, "good luck!" Hinata shouts with a big smile on his face. The tall boy looks at him confused, turns and walks back a couple steps then turns his head to the side and smirks. "I don't need luck" the tall boy replies. He turns around and stares into Hinata's eyes. He immediately regrets talking to him, now all of a sudden he feels intimidated by the boy he thought was nice and charming, there's now a pit of worry at the bottom of his stomach. They stand opposite each other not breaking eye contact, "let's see what you've got" they both say under their breath, Hinata a little nervous and the tall boy with a huge smirk across his face.
