Fly me too

I walk out, change back into my original training clothes and walk outside and see Hawks on the phone. The afternoon sunset beam across Fukuoka, and a fresh breeze blows through my hair. I take time to breathe the fresh air and let it run around and through my body.

Hawks POV:

"Yeah, I understand, don't worry, Gang Orca, I'll bring her home safely.

Okay, see you then, Hawks." We end the call, and I put my phone in my jacket.

I see Sarai in peace, letting the wind flow around her body. I smile at her while she's enjoying the sunlight of the sunset glow on her skin. She looks like an angel with that smile.

She turns my way, and I quickly stop smiling and staring. Shit, Keigo, stop staring. She just finished the simulation. She's probably still traumatised.

I walk toward her and stand a few feet away from her so that she can enjoy the fresh air.

"Isn't it nice out here?" She asks me, and I look into the colours of the sky.

"Yeah, it is. Gang Orca couldn't pick you up, so he asked if I could take you home. Is that alright with you?" I ask her, and she breathes in the fresh air. Her hair blows as the wind breezes in our direction.

"Yeah, that's fine but come here and enjoy this with me, Hawks." She asks, and I stand next to her. Side by side, I look at her as her eyes are closed shut.

"Okay. Now what?" I asked because I didn't know what to do or how to feel.

"Well, first, close your eyes. Now breathe in and breathe out. Just control your breathing." I follow her breathing pattern, and my body starts to feel relaxed.

"Good. Now let the wind flow around your body, Hawks. Let the sun reflect on your skin and let go." I let the wind run through me and let my mind be free. Letting all the responsibilities and stress go.

"You feel it?" She asks.

"It's relaxing, kid. Do you do this all the time?" I opened one eye to look over her, but she had both eyes still closed. I close my eye and feel the breeze through my hair and take off my visors.

"Yeah, I do it after a long day. It helps.

I could get used to this. It reminds me of flying in the clouds. You know I can take you up there. We can go now if you want?" I open an eye to see her react, and she seems eager to.

"I don't know, Hawks; what if Gang Orca wants me home now? I don't want him to worry about me.

Nonsense. I'm pretty sure number 10 will be acceptable. Plus, he knows that I'm taking you home, so you'll be alright.

Uhhh, I don't know.

Just through the clouds, and I'll take you home straight after.

Mmmm. Okay, only cause you'll take me home straight after." We both open our eyes and get ready.

I put my visors on and get ready to take off. I see Sarai standing there without her wings on. She seems shy about going up; she's usually always prepared, which is not like her. She reminds me of her first day of training, how she didn't want to jump off the agency building, which I got, and she feared for her life.

Sarai POV:

I can't use them. Not up there. I instead walk all the way home and then use my wings. Even if I did activate them, they'd disappear, and I'll free fall. I'll pummel to my death.
